I went there three times every time I went there there was no one there to answer the door or they were serving no food don't waste your time

The Bronx Citadel Salvation Army Corp is beyond words helpful. I visited the food pantry today, but be advised, you must register 1st (providing a valid photo ID + paper proof of address) to receive this service by appointment.

Just went and was told they were closing. Says online they close at 5:00 pm. Right now it's 3:30. They a woman says to call the next day. But told her no one picks up when I call and just stayed quiet and went to proceed to her car. Fix your times online if you don't stay open until 5pm. Also, have someone to pick up the phones instead of ignore them. Why have this location if you're not going to do your job.

The staff here are very unprofessional. They greedy with the food Pantry. When a Person goes to these places for first time & asking for emergency food pantry how do This staff denied the person. They never answer the phone or return calls. This salvation Army site needs to be looked into, and Some of the staff are very rude, unprofessional to the people who seek help. The soup Kitchen , food is delicious and cooked well. However, the situation with Food Pantry & answering calls & being unprofessional needs to be looked at.

First time here. On Tuesday they have a clothing store in the citadel, entrance through the back. Small room but alot if clothes, primarily for women. Some men stuff but not alot. They also have a food pantry on certain Tuesdays too.
