We love RNSK! All three of our children attended and it was a great experience. The teachers are amazing and really care about your child. The administration is organized and communication is awesome. The school is play-based and has a wonderful outside play area, complete with playground equipment, swings, and a sandbox (a favorite!). My children were prepared for kindergarten and have such wonderful memories of attending school there. Highly recommend!

You all came very well recommended and you did not disappoint. We are happy with our decision to enroll our child under your care and guidance for his first preschool experience and we can definitely see how much he has learned this school year. Sarah who leads RNS&K is excellent, knowledgeable and made us feel welcome from the first moment we spoke. Our child’s teachers Mrs. Carolina and Mrs. Cynthia have been magnificent, loving and truly exceptional in guiding and teaching the kids. We absolutely love RNSK! We have had three kids attend here in all of the different classrooms and couldn't be happier. The staff is fantastic, and they treat both parents and students with understanding and care. The care and attention they have shown our kids is unparalleled and helped them each come out of their shy personalities. The teaching quality is excellent and our kids are well prepared for elementary school academically and socially. They also have lots of great programs that they run in the classes like yoga, music, and poetry as well as fun field trips and festivals. The sense of community that Sarah and the teachers foster is one of my favorite things about the school.

Rockville Nursery School is wonderful! Our girls (three years old and four years old) have attended RNSK during the regular school year and summer camp program, and we wouldn’t send them anywhere else. Our youngest daughter (16 months) will be attending RNSK full time as soon as she turns two. The teachers are warm, nurturing, and truly passionate about early childhood education. Our girls (especially our three-year old who tends to be shyer) have blossomed in this supportive and engaging environment, coming home every day excited to share new stories and skills. RNSK posts pictures throughout the day, which we appreciate so much. We love seeing our kiddos having fun and doing various activities and this also allows us to specifically ask the girls about those activities. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed with a great balance of academic learning and creative play. Our girls come home every single day with a new art and craft masterpiece. 😊 RNSK has daily water play during the summer which is so wonderful for hot days and so much fun! During summer camp there’s a new theme each week that keeps things fresh and exciting and allows them to learn about something new. Space week was our kiddos favorite because the staff created an entire NASA station with a rocket and command station. The school regulatory incorporates special experiences like magic shows, bubble parties, and even a petting zoo, making every day feel like a special event. These activities add so much joy and wonder to our girl’s preschool experience. The facilities are clean, safe, and filled with enriching materials that stimulate curiosity and exploration. Communication from the school is excellent; they keep us well-informed and involved in our child's progress and activities. The playground that is attached to the school is giant and filled with great equipment. There is even a covered pavilion for water and lots of shade where the teachers will setup crafts for another activity option. A special shoutout to the wonderful director, Sarah, who is incredibly dedicated and attentive. She goes above and beyond to create a warm and welcoming environment for both children and parents. She is ALWAYS available to answer questions and provide support, making us feel like part of the RNSK family. We are so grateful to have found this gem of a preschool and highly recommend it to any parents looking for a loving and educational environment for their little ones.

We have had a fantastic experience at RNSK. I've had 2 children there with very different personalities and both have thrived. After leaving RNSK, my older son was definitely academically and socially prepared for Kindergarten. And my younger son, who is still at RNSK, loves going there and feels genuinely connected to the teachers and other students. I love that they prioritize learning through play, have a really strong understanding of age-appropriate behavior and expectations, and are great communicators.
