Rising Stars Kids Academy

This is a child care facility and not a preparatory or private school. In a child care setting children learn through play in a structured environment as they do here. Our mission is to encourage each child in our care, to use his/her capabilities to explore the world as they learn and play. We also intend to empower each child academically, socially,emotionally and physically. We meet the needs of the whole child by providing a clean, safe, and a friendly environment. Security is imperative, we are fully equipped with security entrance and cameras are installed throughout the facility. Not only that, we serve well balanced cooked in house nutritious meals. The center is very family oriented and friendly. Every concern is a real concern and that's why we have a friendly open door policy. We are not perfect but we do our best to exceed the expectations of the parent by meeting the child's needs.

Education wise a thumbs down. My nieces and nephews go to this school and I'm not sure what they are learning here besides playing. They don't bring home any classwork that they have done during the day and when I ask them questions that they should know for their age they don't know it. I believe that they could and should do a lot better with teaching their students and preparing them for the next level. Yes, it's the parents responsibility to make sure that their child is well educated in and outside of school but it is also the schools responsibility as well. I mean what are they paying for. A babysitter!! I really hate that my sister has them here but right now she has no choice. I do admit they are more like a family to the kids but teach them something too. I am editing this post to advise that this email was used without my knowledge. However, the individual Alexia Fallen whom have niece's and nephew and that is the author does feel strongly about this facility.

Elaine Palmer, the school administrator, is very rude, yells at the children traumatizing them and cursing at them on a daily basis. And she has the audacity to be just as rude to the adults who pick up the kids. We will be reporting this incident to the higher officials and file a complaint against the daycare. You should not be working around children if you cannot manage your anger or emotional intelligence.

Don't take your kids there! My two and three year old went there,they had them playing with kids three times their age.Didnt teach them anything, I dnt think my babies ate. Every time I pick them up the 1st thing they would say I'm hungry the staff is awful.Don't take your precious gift that God gave you there because they're not gonna cherish your babies as much as you do.

OMG my boys are starting there next week. I really hope these reviews are old news and the facility is nothing like that anymore. I am very picky about who cares for my kids and how they are cared for.
