On 2/6/2026 I came to the school to pick up my 4yr old daughter.....upon arrival I found her on the playground with an ice pack on her foot.....No one was sitting with her..her assistant teacher said she hurt her foot while playing on the playground. She also stated that she really wasn't hurt because she asked her to jump up and down if she wanted some chips...next she stated my daughter jumped up and down. ( this was her way of assessing if my daughter was really hurt). My daughter told me she jumped from the "Rock Climbing" part of the playset. (which is several feet from the ground). Took my daughter to the ER...the x-ray showed three broken toes. Took her to the Pediatric Othropedic doctor the same week..the Pediatric Doctor stated the x-ray missed an additional toe...she had FOUR BROKEN TOES ON ONE FOOT! Called the Director (Kim Gruber) on 2/10/26 and my phone call to her..she did not know the incident ever took place. Note: No one called me to inform me of the Injury. I had to ask for an Incident Report. On the Incident report it was very vauge and did not give details of what really happened. I asked to review the cameras..the Director emailed me to have patience with her and she will get back to me. She contacted me AT THE END OF THE week to review the cameras. When I asked the Director why did she take so long to get back with me to review the camera footage, she stated. and I quote. " It was not a Life or Dealth Situation" (So a child that Suffered from Broken Bones isn't an Emergency in her book) .Upon watching the footage the Director stated to me.....that she could not really tell whether or not that was my daughter in the footage and could I remember what type of shoes she wore the date of the Injury? Clearly it was my daughter on the footage. The above statement ALONE.....was Dismissive, Unapologetic concerning my daughter's Injury and Gas lighting......as if I did something wrong. Needless to say, I pulled my daughter out of the school Immediately. They have two Locations: Cornerstone Academy at Stonecrest and Cornerstone at Lithonia. Babyyyyyyyyyyy RUN THE OTHER WAY! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD/CHILDREN TO THIS FACILITY 😒!!!

I highly recommend this place. Most of my grandchildren who are teens and young adults all have great childhood memories of Cornerstone. Ms. Kim and the staff are very lovely and kindhearted❤️

I'm not sure what was going on 5 years ago, BUT my kids have been going to this school for 2 years and I have no complaints! My almost 2 year old is talking and saying his alphabets and counting. They also instill Christian values into the children. My kids are at home here.

My granddaughter attended this school and we both loved it so much she started out with Ms. Tina and she had a wonderful experience with her then she moved up to Ms. Shae’s class and that was the BEST thing that happen to my baby she talked about Ms. Shae every single day if it wasn’t for my granddaughter moving back with her mom she would still be at Cornerstone Academy I love this school and if I get her back she will be back at Cornerstone thank you guys so much for taking such good care of my baby

Excellent school. Granddaughter has truly been blessed to attend this school. She is amazingly above her level.
