I visited for a party. The venue is nice and well decorated and maintained. The parking is a bit limited, but there's street parking. I enjoyed my time there.
I had my wedding at this facility on 4/27 and everything was amazing. This is a hidden gem in Lithonia. The management of this facility made sure the venue was ready for my wedding. I was able to have an outdoors wedding at this venue and my reception indoors. That was always a dream of mine for my wedding day.
Ms.Rita was sooo sweet I really appreciate her for all her hard work! I told her my needs and she when above and beyond to make sure I was happy! 5/20/2022 was a day to remember.
The event venue was perfect for my son's 50th Birthday Party. Ms. Rita was very polite and professional. Great price!!!
First, I will say that the venue served it's purpose and my guests had a great time. It's affordable and conveniently located if you are in the Stone Mountain/ Lithonia area. We decided to decorate on our own instead of using the decorator there. However, this place will never have my business again and would not recommend this venue and here's why. When I first met Miss Rita, she was super sweet. She got me set up and ready to go for our event. Unfortunately, hurricane Helene came through bringing rain which flooded 4 parking spaces. I informed Miss Rita who responded that putting out cones to block the spaces was my responsibility. I told her that it should be hers a I, and my set up crew would be dressed and would not want to get dirty. She mentioned that no one else asked to put out cones before and they can see the water and not park there. I told her that my event is at night and, for the safety of my guests, I need the cones out. No one else asking before had nothing to do with me. She finally sent someone out. Secondly, I paid for an extra hour to set up which cost $100. She asked for me to let her know how we want the place set up the Sunday before. I told her 10 tables with 9 chairs. However, when we got there at 5, there was only 9 tables with 9 chairs. I had to call her and let her know. She sent her husband to come. I requested my money back for the extra hour since the place was not set up and ready. Here's her response, "Were you not able to get in? When he got there, they were already setting up the ninth table." I responded by telling her that it didn't matter and that we paid for the venue to be 100% ready to set up at 5pm and it wasn't. She refunded my money and told me that her venue is not the venue for me in the future. She then sent this text, "For FYI, the tables and chairs out is a courtesy that I do for the clients so they won't have to spend part of their 6 hours setting up. The 6 hours includes setup and cleanup." Here's my response, "No ma'am. You said that's part of the payment when I booked. Your response is unprofessional and communication regarding this issue is over. I will be sure to clean the place properly and this will conclude our business." She's right, this will not be the venue for me in the future and I will never recommend this venue. Again, we did have a great time and we made the place look beautiful. Your experience may be different but I'm used to dealing with professionals. You can decide on your own.
