What Parents Say
Queen Anne Community Center is highly rated as a versatile recreation facility offering programs for children and adults of all ages. Parents praise the toddler programs (gym, yoga, playroom), aquatic center, sports facilities, and friendly staff. The facility serves as both a daycare/activity center and community venue.
Excellent resource for parents of small children. Toddler gym Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Walk-in toddler yoga Thursdays. Toddler playroom is a lifesaver on rainy days. Plus it's in close proximity to a playground when the weather clears up and you want to get some sunshine.
Found parking easily. Not always that way though. Depends on time of day. Watched a kickball game. People really nice and curtious. Things for kids of all ages to do and even adult programs.
Such a great place to go for recreation! Dirk was super helpful. He went over and above to answer my questions, assisted with some equipment adjustments, and make me feel very welcome. Grateful for his knowledgable, friendly, stellar customer service!
We love everything here. We use the toddler room. Take lessons at QACC Aquatic Center (is that the name?) Play basketball a bit. Good community activities. Worst news is that the summer hours do not appear to include Saturdays, which is very sad for our toddler who still tries to get in when we walk by.
The facility is ok, parking is tough, but the summer camps are questionable. My experience is that the summer camp instructors are not very good, a little lazy, and mean. Probably not all of them, but definitely the ones at the jewelry making camp. One of them had a boyfriend in the classroom just sitting there and I doubt he was background checked, approved, etc.
