Portage Ymca Ahoma

Everyone is pleasant here, equipment is clean and childcare room is amazing! My little guy does so well with the caretakers. My only gripe is there is no lat pull down, seated pull or stair master

Not enough machines for the amount of people who come here daily. There's only one machine each in the strength room and constantly people are hogging the machines while playing on their phones. The pool is almost always packed with some sort of class...I also don't like that adults have to pay more to go here.

Great place to take the kids and get a decent workout.

Absolutely sucks here. Antiquated facilities bathrooms are disgusting 🤮. I don’t know when they made improvements last. Can’t even find a parking spot. There are far too many people than they can accommodate. This is on a week day at 10 am When kids are in school and people work They need to expand. When you can’t use a machine or cardio. Because every thing is being used they need to expand. Where’s all the money going ??? Silver sneakers and other programs pay for the membership so where is this all going??? I understand that they help financially challenge members but what good is it when you can’t work out. This facility is in need of some serious upgrades and needs to make room big enough to accommodate all the members it’s absolutely ridiculous. My insurance covers my membership here but I pay out of my pocket $150 a month to go somewhere else because I can’t get a work out in. Stop accepting new members and expand your facility and for god sake put some windows in in The building is depressing and feels like a dungeon. Go look at other YMCA in other cities. Why does ours look like this. What are you doing with the money 💰 there needs to be a investigation

Got my Fitmas shirt in July. Now getting in my Christmas steps on the track! And have moved on to the treadmill until I can get outside this spring!
