just became a member today so the jury is still out ... bare in mind I struggle with anxiety and have a bit of social anxiety specifically so going to new places is difficult ... having said that ... the facility does seem to have a little of everything ... weight training, personal trainers ... a huge room with 3 or 4 separate pools ... I think 3 ... and a schedule that allows for lessons and just relaxing in the water and times for everyone to have time to enjoy ... even old ladies like me 😂 there are also yoga and palates group classes ... basketball and a few other things ... there are also lockers and showers and a lounge ... they are in the process of building a restaurant in the lounge so its a bit loud but they plan to be finished by March 31st ... so that will be another plus ... oh and free WiFi ... plus the facility is located in our beautiful McIntire Park ... so before and after you have all that to enjoy as well ... shout out to LaQuanda Vest ... thank you for your kindness and understanding ... you da bomb 😉 talk/see you soon 😊

This is the real CHS stop. It's very convenient from many neighborhoods (10th/Page, Venable, Fifeville, North Downtown, Belmont.) Plan to board the northbound direction to ensure that you can board. Make sure to check the schedules and have something to do while you're waiting. The YMCA entrance is welcoming and it's not at all intimidating to wait here. The bus drivers are some of the nicest people in Charlottesville and public transit makes your life so much better!!
