What Parents Say
PHIPPS NEIGHBORHOODS, INC. receives mixed reviews with significant operational and communication concerns. While some parents praise career development opportunities and inclusivity, multiple reviewers report serious issues including poor customer service, unresponsive staff, missed communications, unfair program termination policies, and lack of support for single parents.
My experience was horrible. They are unprofessional and have waiting over 30minutes just to speak to someone. Also in the process of me getting in the program they had deadlines for paperwork, I have it in and they said they never received it. & on top of that they say to email because they don’t answer the phone . I was emailing and no reply back .
If you’re a single parent with lack of support, don’t enroll in their programs. They will terminate you if your child get sick regardless if you have a doctors note. They don’t care about participants they only care about funding for the program.
I was referred to this center by a friend because they offer what appears to be a great healthcare education program for adults. I've been pursuing entrance into this program now since February and it's been horrible. I don't know if they personally prefer students pursuing a health related degree (I'm going for communications but was gunning for this because a job in health sure beats a job in retail) I've been having a hard time getting ahold of the coordinator in charge, Taron Brown. My calls and emails about any updates on finalizing steps for entrance are dodged, the few times I've managed to get a hold of him I was met with stories about pushing the start date due to wifi troubles, the site being under repair, lack of students etc. It's disappointing because I was set on starting this program but it seems the staff fails to operate with integrity. In the future Mr. Brown if your not considering someone seriously you should inform them instead of wasting their time.
Unfairly dismissed due to my sons medical condition, plenty of people that were late in the cnh program were able to continue
This program changed my whole life. I have a good secure job in health care now and made some amazing friends!
