What Parents Say
NDLA receives mixed reviews with most parents praising the caring staff, creative activities, and welcoming environment. However, some parents report unprofessional staff behavior, poor communication from management, and concerns about mandatory fees and limited field trips.
As my son begins his journey into kindergarten, I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for NDLA1. My son was apart of their wonderful community since he was 3 years old, and the time he spent at NDLA1 is truly unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm smiles and heartfelt Good mornings ,Holas and Have a good day . The care and attention my son received was beyond incredible. We especially loved the fun family projects we got to do every month and all the creative activities. Leaving was an emotional and tearful goodbye, but knowing how well he was taught and trained at NDLA1 made it a little easier. The teaching and learning he experienced with them has truly set him up for success in this next phase. Thank you for everything. I would wholeheartedly recommend NDLA to any family without a moment's hesitation.
My son recently completed Pre-K here and we loved it. The teachers were wonderful along with the rest of the staff.
I really love this all-year-round daycare/ alternative schooling. The staff is caring, compassionate, concerning not only with your babies but, the entire family. I have nothing bad to say only everything great to say.. A perfectly safe place for your babies....
This review is fresh July 2019. I do not recommend. It looks nice on the outside but the people are not on the inside. First, it’s mandatory you pay $60-70 extra twice a year for taffy apples if your child is not in head start. They don’t take many trips at all and one of them was a walk to “Wendy’s”. The Director does not communicate the best and does not listen well and communicate effectively with the parents in my opinion. The staff seems stressed. The receptionist looks like she has a attitude every day. The 3yr teacher I’m head start is about the only decent one that is good with her kids. If she didn’t have my son I would’ve been left. There’s a older teacher with the smaller babies that looks mean and don’t need to be around anybody’s baby. Oh and if your child’s father is active be aware of the Staff asking him if he’s still on the market or not. The staff found it appropriate to ask my son’s father about our personal love life to attempt to hook him up with others or with herself. However you call it, extremely disrespectful and unprofessional when we both bring our child there, I was already out the door because of the poor professionalism and communication but that just put the icing on the cake. This is a real review so save your time and take your baby somewhere else. You’ll thank me later.
My kids and my self didn't like this daycare. Some of the staff was rude and unprofessional and their "summer camp" it's not fun at all.
