Montessori Gardens has been a wonderful place for my child. Teachers Amy and Megan are fabulous with many years of experience. They are warm, caring, organized, knowledgeable, and most importantly beloved by all the kids. I love how the kids learn and move at their own pace. There are lots of enrichment activities: yoga, dance, music, art! It’s a small school so it feels very personable and that my child and family are well known. Highly recommended!
Both my kids went to Montessori Garden and I can’t say enough good things about Amy, Megan and the rest of the staff. Not only did the Montessori program help foster curiosity, confidence, and independence, but the staff is what sets it apart from other early learning preschools. They all truly cared about my kids like they were their own. They guided them with structure, loving boundaries, and patience (and of course they had so many fun activities peppered in)! I was really impressed with how the staff problem-solved along side us with each child’s individual needs, and also helped us see how much they can truly do if we let them. Both my kids, who are very different, were fully ready, capable, and excited to start Kindergarten. I’m so happy we got them off to a great start with Montessori Garden and highly recommend sending your kids there!
Montessori Garden is owned and operated by a dynamic duo of experienced educators (Amy and Megan) who have dedicated their professional lives to nurturing young minds. Their passion for child development is evident in every aspect of the school, from the thoughtfully-designed classrooms to the warm and supportive learning environment. If you’re looking for a great preschool, I highly recommend a visit. The school's convenient location in Greenlake makes it easily accessible for North Seattle families. Additionally, the strong reputation of the owners within the community speaks volumes about their commitment to providing excellent care.
We've just started our second school year at Montessori Garden and our son couldn't be happier with his school experience. He has grown immensely in his time at Montessori Garden -- from his creative and artistic interests to his social skills and ability to perform every day tasks. The curriculum exposes him to a wide range of subjects and activities, keeping him engaged and interested all day. It is a great mix of play, work, lessons, art, music, dance, independent activity and group collaboration. Amy and Megan take a great interest in each of the students individual journeys and offer constant support to help them develop and thrive. We trust and respect their judgement and guidance. We are so happy we have another year at Montessori Garden and can't wait to see all the things our son will accomplish and we look forward to the friendships we will continue build with the great community of MG students and parents.
My preschooler is in their second year at Montessori Garden and is still eager to go to school every morning. I feel confident every day at drop off that my child is safe, happy, and in an environment where they are truly cared for. Beyond that, I’m always thrilled to hear the nightly download of everything they learned/experienced at school - including practical skills, counting, writing, new songs, projects, field trips, etc. The kids are amazing and my child has made wonderful friendships. Amy, Megan, and Eric are an amazing team. I trust their judgment and appreciate their open communication. I’m so glad our child is really thriving in their school and I know they’ll be ready for the transition to elementary school when the time comes.
