What Parents Say
Miss Bloomingdale's Academy in Irving, Texas receives consistently excellent reviews (all 5/5 ratings). Parents praise the warm, caring atmosphere, dedicated staff, strong academic curriculum with emphasis on reading and writing, and individualized attention that helps children exceed developmental expectations.
Our son has attended Miss Bloomingdales for 3 years; he began when he was 9 months old. We toured many Daycares to make sure we made an informed decision, and you can just feel a difference when you walk into Miss Bloomingdales. The atmosphere is warm and caring and you do not see chaos or “lunchroom noise” type rooms like observed in other daycares. Because of the dedicated teachers, curriculum and loving environment we quickly noticed that our son was growing and excelling ahead of our expectations for his age. The teachers spend one on one time with each child in the class; they often ask us if our son likes certain things like he loves in class. We notice the teachers really stress the importance of reading, writing and being kind to others.
Miss Bloomingdale’s Academy is truly a gem, and we feel so lucky to have found them! Our daughter, Neilina, has been attending MBA for the past two years, and the experience has been nothing short of wonderful. From the very beginning, we’ve been consistently impressed with the quality of care, attention, and education she receives. Every staff member we’ve encountered has gone above and beyond. Her first teacher, Ms. Dallas, helped her transition into daycare smoothly, and her current teacher, Ms. Chere, is one of the most hardworking, honest, and dedicated educators we’ve met. The teacher aides, like Ms. Racquel—who introduces the children to Spanish—add so much value to the program. Even the cook, Ms. Marian, plays an important role in creating a nurturing environment, providing meals with care. The directors, Megan and May, are incredibly attentive to the children and genuinely invested in their well-being and development. Their leadership creates a warm, supportive, and structured environment that fosters learning and growth. We couldn’t ask for a better place for our daughter, and we’re so grateful for everyone at MBA. Highly recommended for any parent looking for a safe, caring, and enriching daycare!
We had our son at MBA for 4 years (from 3 months old to 4 years). Leaving MBA was incredibly difficult. Every new classroom we would think, 'this is an explosion of new words, talents, skills, and this teacher is the best!' But that happened each time we leveled up. If we ever had concerns we were met with kindness and patience. Our son is so much stronger, smarter, and kinder having been with MBA for so long. We would recommend this daycare greatly.
We’ve been with Miss Bloomingdale’s since our now one year old was 12 weeks old. Daycare can be an uneasy feeling as a first time parent but Miss Bloomingdales has been such a great and comforting experience. Our baby started in the infant room with Mrs. Maria and she is phenomenal. Maria is so thorough with everything she does for the babies all while being very warm and loving. Our baby lights up every time she sees her and that is such a great feeling. She truly treats them as her own and we trust her whole heartedly.
Today, as I reflect on the upcoming hectic week, I find peace knowing that Miss Bloomingdale is a place where I can safely leave my daughter in caring hands. Hello everyone, We moved to the USA 1.5 years ago, and I was initially very apprehensive about choosing a daycare. After reading positive reviews and hearing good things about Miss Bloomingdale academy,I decided to visit. Meeting Melisa, the facility director, was a game-changer. Her approach, suggestions, and care made us feel confident, and we didn’t visit any other facilities after that. On the first day, she gave us helpful tips to ease the transition, like handing my daughter to a teacher instead of leaving her on the ground so that the child will have trust in person whom I was leaving her with and she wouldn't feel alone. While my daughter cried on and off, two nurturing teachers were always there to comfort her, often holding her in their laps. As we are from India and have different food preferences, the management kindly allowed us to send homemade meals. A special mention to Megan, who always checked in on my daughter whenever I gave her a call she would actually walk to my child room and check her. I called her hundreds of times but she was never pissed and said she understands I am a mother. After over a year at Miss Bloomingdale, my daughter has thrived and graduated to higher classes, and her learning amazes me thanks to Miss Angie and Miss Janet. I’m sharing this to help parents who may be uncertain about their daycare choice. Earlier I use to live at 3 minutes distance from the academy but recently I shifted to our new home. Even though there are daycare centers closer to our new home in Euless, my trust and comfort with Miss Bloomingdale are so strong that I happily drive 22 minutes each day to drop her off.
