Our son has been enrolled here for about 2 months now, and so far we love it. I haven't noticed any of the issues another commenter mentions, and I won't discount their personal experience though I think context is important here. All schools and institutions struggled during the pandemic. Resources were very limited and stretched thin, and unexpected closures was the unfortunate norm. Now that we are farther out from it, I think many of these issues have been worked out. I have nothing but positive things to say about the school, the teachers and the administration. We've seen only good things when it comes to the care and attention they give the kids, as well as the dedicated lesson plans, transparency to parents, and overall inclusiveness. Our son has a speech delay, and his teachers have worked hard with him on it to ensure that he has tools to properly communicate his needs. He has learned so much in his short time there, including leaps in his language, and we look forward to seeing what else he learns next.
My son has had a really positive first preschool experience here. The staff is welcoming and always has information when I ask questions about my kiddos day or behavior. There was some staff change, but you can tell the teachers are adaptable and making every effort to ensure the children are happy and engaged. We made the hard choice to leave when another SPP spot opened up closer to home. We will definitely miss the Launch community.
So very glad my son is out of this school and finally getting the help that he needs. They can't hold on to teachers. They are constantly closing the school without warning. My son who I have finally had diagnosed with ADHD was absolutely hindered by the time spent at this school. They absolutely fumbled through the pandemic. I have had my son sent home without a diaper or underwear. Just pants. They can't even seem to pick a policy and stick with it. They have just replaced a major manager, again. The place is a mess. The topper had to be the head of the school gaslighting me about trying to work together only after and when I involved Seattle public schools and employed state services. There are other better schools all over that neighborhood. Honestly it's a school of rotating strangers and half rate full timers. Absolutely run from this school if you care about your children. Don't believe them or their promises. I would recommend literally anywhere else. One lousy star.
