Do your research on this daycare! Hand-foot-mouth disease is extremely contagious. This facility keeps unwell children in it's care for profit, regardless of the child's well being. There is a list of parents, that will attest to the ill-treatment of their little ones. I will post the names of the owners if proper steps are not taken to rectify the unhealthy environment.
Owners response to the post of Debi Beall: We would like to address your concerns. Hands-Foot and Mouth is a highly contagious virus. Throughout the years, it has become an epidemic viral infection normally caused by the bacteria coxsazkievirus, but there are numerous other bacteria listed in the enteroviruses category that also cause Hands-Foot and Mouth. This disease will normally not show any symptoms until a child or person has come to the end of the disease. We have installed the “Micro PureTotal Home Active Purifiers” in our facility a couple of years ago. Those purifiers produce airborne scrubbers that actively seek out and destroy pollutants in the air and on surfaces. We also clean our rooms throughout the day and every night. We do everything we can to stop virus and disease from spreading. Unfortunately there are times when a disease or virus does spread. When it comes to a virus like Hands-Foot and Mouth, after a certain number of confirmed cases, we do shut down our facility for a day to do deep cleaning. We also do send children home in the case that it may appear as if one has the disease. It is then up to the doctors discretion on when they are able to come back. If you have further concerns regarding your post, please feel free to come by and discuss this with the Owners or Management. We have no record of you ever having a child in our facility. I so far have mix feelings about this daycare it seems a bit unorganized.. the staff are very young and not quite friendly.. When I was introduce to one of the teacher she kept her back turn which is very rude! I mean come on I'm leaving my child in your care the least I want to be left with is bad nerves... a part of me wants to make this his first and last week but I'm hoping it will get better...
My child has been here for 7 months now. She loves the staff. I do too. They are so great. Never had a problem here. Thank you marlandwood daycare. You guys are freaking awesome!
