Young World Preschool And Mother'S Day Out

I absolutely LOVE Young World!! Both my daughters went to Young World for over 5 years. We recently changed only because they were getting too old to attend and took them to a place with kids their age. Mrs. Vicki is a wonderful lady!! She and all of her staff have always treated my kids with love and care. My kids still ask to go there to visit!! My kids were well prepared for kindergarten because they have a pre-k curriculum and are still advanced in their grades today. I never felt like my kids suffered when it came to their education. My kids made life long friends there as well, and I am so grateful for Mrs. Vicki and her Young World staff!!

My daughter has gone here now for 2 years. She has went from not wanting to attend daycare, to looking forward to going and playing with her friends. I have noticed that she comes home with many more projects and artwork then from her previous daycare, which I appreciate because I felt at the last place she attended, there was too much TV watching. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the teacher turn over. Now I know this is unavoidable many times, but it seemed like every time my daughter would get to know and like a teacher, she would leave soon after. Again this is an issue at a lot of daycares and Young World is not immune. Overall its a great place to trust in your child's care!

My son has been here for nearly two years now. It is small and tight-knit and the caretakers are very warm and nurturing. It is not the "well-oiled machine" that some of the national chains are, but there are some definite pros to being at a small school. When my son is sick, they hold him and comfort him until I get there to take him home. My child and I are both greeted by name everytime we enter the building, and everyday when we leave. They know what his favorite foods are and his personality well enough to know when something is "off". My son loves going to school there. Unlike the previous review, I cannot imagine anyone there ever being rude.

I have two children and both have attended Young World since they were 3 years old. My oldest daughter is now 10 and still doesn’t want to go anywhere else! I am so happy that I can have dependable, loving staff look after my children and I can go to work and not worry about them or their safety! As far as the curriculum goes, both of my children were very prepared for kindergarten, class room settings, academically and being around other children in a loving, caring manner. I don’t understand how someone can prove that their child could get the Herpes Virus or Fifth Disease since these types of virus live on things such as shopping carts, etc… and are airborne and can be spread in all public places. In the 7 years that I have been taking my children there, I see them clean every day, smell cleaning product and they are taking out trash. They have a sign in sheet at the front and children are only released to parents (unless other arrangements have been made by the parent, and then whoever is picking them up in the place of the parent, must provide a photo i.d.). Front doors remained locked at all other times, and there is someone in the front office monitoring the door. I am a very over protective parent and very particular about who watches my children, I have never second guessed myself about my choice of having my children in Young World!!

This is the first daycare my son has gone to by himself. (His mom managed one that he went to with her ) hes 3 and loves it! Everyday he comes home with art work and tells us how much fun he had! Its a good feeling to be able to drop your child off and be worry free knowing that hes in great hands!!
