So my daughter only got to attend this facility for about 2 months before they kicked her out. The teacher let me know a few times over those 2 months that they had to redirect her to pay attention, and then I went to drop her off on a Wednesday morning and at drop off I was informed that after Friday she would not be able to return to daycare and that the director would reach out to explain the situation. When the director called she said my daughter was being removed because she was a distraction to the other kids because she didn’t show any interest in learning to read at the age of 3!!!! She said she did really good with arts and crafts but she wasn’t interested in learning. I was like, because she is 3!!! When I asked how long this had been going on, she told me about 2 weeks. She then tried to tell me a few parents had complained about my daughter. We have not seen any incident reports or anything other than the few times that they said they had to redirect her. I was told they are a learning center not just a daycare which is ridiculous. Not all 3 year olds are ready to learn school age curriculums. And as a professional childcare center you’re telling me you can’t handle one 3 year old!!! And her behavior has only been this way for 2 weeks and you feel the right move is to kick her out!!!! We only enrolled in this daycare because her old daycare closed down, and never had any complaint at the old one. In fact the teachers praised how good my daughter was and how helpful she was to her teachers. And as if her being kicked out wasn’t enough they gave us 2 days to find a new daycare while me and my wife both work full time jobs. If I could give negative stars for this review I would.
A True Blessing to Our Family! This is the fourth child I’ve had attend this amazing learning center and that alone speaks volumes. My oldest is now 9 my youngest is 11 months all 4 children have become family here at E&I. From the very beginning, they’ve been more than just a daycare to us. They are truly family. What sets this center apart is the genuine love, care, and intentional teaching they give each child. They don’t just babysit—they nurture, guide, and teach our little ones every single day. I completely trust them with my children’s hearts, minds, and safety. Ronnie, the director, has one of the purest and most joyful spirits I’ve ever encountered. You can feel her love the moment you walk through the door. Ebony and the entire staff pour pure love into each child—every hug, every smile, every lesson is heartfelt and intentional. If you’re looking for a place where your child will be loved, uplifted, and truly cared for, this is it. We’re so grateful to be part of this beautiful community. 💛
Ebony & Ivory’s childcare & learning center is the Best Daycare in town!! We have had a Great experience with all the ladies since our son started about three years ago. They love him like one of their own, never had any issues. He has learned so much & is ready for his next journey in Kinder. My mom is so impressed with the day care she wish she had one in Round Rock that has the same values and passion for teaching that the ladies here have. We will miss you ladies Thank you for taking good care of my little guy!
I can’t say enough wonderful things about this childcare! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed, supported, and confident that our children were in great hands. The staff are warm, attentive, and truly passionate about what they do. My kids come home happy, engaged, and full of stories about the fun activities they did and what they learned. The communication is excellent, and I always feel in the loop with what’s going on day to day. I especially appreciate the emphasis on both learning and play—my kids are growing socially, emotionally, and intellectually. The environment is clean, safe, and thoughtfully organized. Knowing my children are cared for, supported, and thriving makes all the difference. Even after all this time, my children still look forward to going, which speaks volumes about the level of care and connection they feel. I can't go past Ave M without my kids wanting to stop in!
