I will start by saying that the teachers are great, and do seem to care about your little ones. However, the director is so awful. We tried to put up with it because the teachers were great, but it became too much. She is unnecessarily confrontational and rude. The last interaction I had with her was simply because she said my son could not be wearing his boots, which was totally fine. But the way I was approached about this, in front of my son and his entire class actually scared my son and it ended with him hiding behind me. The other thing I will say is that they give any excuse to take off, including 2 weeks for Christmas break, one week for back to school, and several other multiple day breaks, which results in over 20 days throughout the year. It literally burns up all PTO we have - because we are still paying for all these days off we can’t even pay for a babysitter so we can still work. One of the teachers said that they actually aren’t paid for the days they don’t work, so that is also not great. The place we are at now is wonderful and warm and doesn’t even compare.
We love Little Roos’ staff and teachers! We have gone to Little Roos for the past 4 years and my kids love going. They have a great curriculum that has more than prepared my son for Kindergarten and I am grateful for the amazing teachers there.
My son has been attending Little Roos for the past 2 1/2 years and we absolutely love the curriculum and teachers. I love the app the school uses that gives real-time updates on his daily activities features a communication tool to direct message between parents and teachers. I highly recommend Little Roos!
This preschool academy has been amazing for the last 2 years taking care of our boy. I can’t express how grateful I am for this place. Ms Carla, Ms Luci, Ms Roxy, and Ms Lisa have been amazing. The director and owner are always present at the location. Great environment for your kid to learn and build social skills.
Both of my boys love Little Roos! The teachers, the lunch lady, the director, and the owner are all just such kind, loving, and infinitely patient people. They keep the kids engaged in the lesson plans, and really set my oldest up for success in Kindergarten. They are more expensive, but child care is going to be pricey everywhere. This school is worth it! They are clean, and they are health conscious. Having sick kids at home is never convenient, but I appreciate that they are just trying to stop the bugs that go around. I can't tell you how happy I am that we found this school!
