Del Mar College-Morris L Lichtenstein Jr

I earned my BSN through Del Mar and I am very proud of it. It was not easy. The professors and Doctors were supportive and encouraging. The tuition was affordable and I would definitely recommend.

I have been going to Del Mar for 3 semesters now. I would recommend this college to anyone. I went back to school after almost 15 years. They were great at helping me with everything. I recommend utilizing all their student help services, like Trio, Student Success, and Tutor labs. Teachers there seem understanding and helpful. I have gone to both Windward and Heritage campasses. Both are nice facilities. Heritage Campus is main one with more things. It's never to late to go back!!!!

The chair of the math department and Jasmin, I just want to say that I have had no problem with any Professors or departments, but this duo has wasted my time. they are the only ones that had issues with and when I last spoke to them, it Sounded like there was no accountability from them just blaming the Student which is me even the chair told me to try to test out of her class as a good way to tell me that my money and time was wasted because they know Well, might as well test out of math because we aren’t the best at what they do. This semester was a complete waste of time Delmar has lied with their promise's. Again, the Professors and departments have all been 5 stars until I reached this mess of a Mathematics Department. Mr. Hernandez it's a shame you allow this type of education to be led by people that are incompetent to technology. Be very careful attending college here to the future students there is a reason this campus has 3.9 stars. Save money work hard test out of your remedials and go to TAMUCC or A & M Kingsville. Do not do what I did and continue to trust this campus wasted years and time with them and after this POOR performance from their Math Department this semester I have had enough. For my colleagues in the class also concerned with what took place this semester i heard you and this is why i'm writing this. Take Care. Do better Delmar if i could 0 stars I would.

Eva Goodman with the Financial Aid Office at the Heritage Campus is an awesome person. She is very professional, very helpful, and goes above and beyond to help students with their needs. Additionally, she is very good and very knowledgeable of her job. Please don’t let her retire, she’s a true asset to DMC!!!!

I attended this “school” as my first start at an education. I would rather have attended a small college in Ethiopia as I believe I would have received a better education. I now hold a graduate degree in a science and feel that attending this school did nothing to help me and in most situations had to relearn everything that was taught at this school. If you have any respect for yourself I would apply anywhere but a community college….
