Little Genius Montessori Center

Little Genius is an amazing all immersion Chinese school. In my family, I am the only one who exclusively speaks to my children in mandarin. One of main worries was once my sons started English daycare, they had trouble switching languages between mom (mandarin) and dad (English). After less than a month of enrolling my child to Little Genius, my son has developed the ability to switch languages between mom and dad. It was incredible! I also like to add the immense care from LG teachers. They are all so caring, thoughtful and extremely compassionate. I love seeing how happy my kids are when I pick them up and I love hearing them talk about what they did and the songs that they've learned. I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone!!

I have two kids in LGMS and they have been attending the school for the last year and a half. The teachers are so kind and patient. They adapt the curriculum to meet kids where they are at and also foster independence. They develop a sense of community within the school. The staff are very responsive and truly care about the kids. They’ve gone above and beyond to make sure our kids are comfortable and thriving. My kids love the Chinese skills they learn at LGMS and the academic rigor is awesome. I recommend the school to anyone looking for Montessori, and you get the added bonus of language immersion!

Little genius has been a great day care for my kids! The teachers there are so caring and compassionate. The Chinese immersion is such a great added bonus. Our kids come home singing songs from school all the time. There is a great sense of Teamwork between the students there. Since starting day care my kids language has exploded. I would highly recommend this daycare to others!

We feel very lucky to have chosen LGMS for our kids' preschool education. Our older child has been part of the LGMS family for four years. We are so impressed by the way Ms. Zhang and Mr. Zhou teach and help kids that we send our younger child at LGMS as well. All the teachers are friendly, patient, responsible, and easy to communicate. LGMS offers a well-structured curriculum for both the toddler and primary classes, designed to enhance children's overall learning abilities in distinct ways. The toddler class focuses on nurturing essential foundational skills, such as physical coordination, speech development, some simple math, and recognition of emotions, everyday objects and phenomena. In contrast, the primary class places a strong emphasis on academic growth in STEM subjects, reading, writing, leadership, and teamwork etc. More importantly, teachers create tailored study plans for each child based on their individual interests, strengths, and weaknesses. Daily photo updates and one-on-one meetings between teachers and parents keep us well-informed about our children's progress at school. Furthermore, LGMS enriches the learning experience by introducing children to Chinese culture and traditional festivals, creating an immersive Chinese cultural and educational environment that both of our kids eagerly embrace.

Both my kids (4 yo and 2 yo) go to LGMS. What prompted me to provide a review is because of the significant positive changes that I have witnessed in both my kids after just 5 months of attendance. Agree with other reviews re: their culturally diverse and academically rigorous curriculums, great spacious and clean environment, kind, encouraging and responsible teachers, what I would like to add and emphasize is that their individually designed curriculum really works (因材施教). My older child went from not engaging in prior day care's performance shows by just standing on the stage to actively leading some of the performance shows at LGMS. Her self-confidence is so evidently abundant. I feel thankful! Really appreciate your effort LGMS!
