We enrolled our daughter at La Petite in the summer of 2020, at the height of the COVID pandemic. She was only two months old, and as two working parents, we needed to find a place we could trust. A peer recommended La Petite, and from the very first day, Mrs. Kenya Johnson treated our baby as if she were her own. The safety measures and precautions put in place during COVID went far beyond our expectations, and we immediately knew our daughter was in the right hands. Our daughter attended La Petite from infancy all the way through Pre-K, completing the program last year. Transitioning from La Petite to kindergarten was one of the hardest changes we’ve ever made because this center has truly been a second home for our family. She grew up here, surrounded by teachers and staff who loved her, nurtured her, and celebrated every milestone with her. Many of her closest friends were with her from the infant room all the way through Pre-K—something that speaks volumes about the environment and the level of care this school provides. Running a daycare is incredibly challenging, yet Mrs. Kenya leads with grace, dedication, and genuine love for every child who walks through the doors. She sets the tone for an exceptional team that treats children like family and creates a safe, warm, and enriching place for them to learn and grow. I would highly and wholeheartedly recommend La Petite Cordova to any parent seeking high-quality care, stability, and enrichment for their child before kindergarten. La Petite Academy in Cordova is amazing thanks to Ms. Kenya’s leadership. My niece and nephews attend this daycare, and she always makes them feel safe, welcomed, and loved. She’s professional, caring, and truly knows each child’s needs. The progress the kids have made, both socially and academically, has been remarkable. La Petite Academy in Cordova has been an amazing experience for our family since 2023. The teachers are truly hands-on and genuinely care about the children. You can tell they are attentive, patient, and invested in each child’s growth and development. Communication is great, and it gives me peace of mind knowing my children are in a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment every day. My littles have gone here since they were 1. They are now 2 and a half. This is nit just a daycare. My babies have grown so much since they started, they learn so much here, and the staff really cares about the kids that go here. They love their teachers and the director! La Petite also provides diapers, wipes, and their own formula for the babies. And they have cameras where parents can see how their kids are doing in real time. The teachers also post updates throughout the day so you know about diaper changes, bowl movements, what they are being offered to eat and even how much they eat, as well as activity updates and photos throughout the day. I feel so blessed to have found this place. I toured other daycares with great reviews online and it was an immediate no. They don't hold a candle to La Petite!
