My experience with Bright Ideas, has been nothing short of amazing. Everyone has always been so kind and welcoming! They work with you and actually care about the children in care. My babies love going there and I don’t worry about them, while in their care. I wouldn’t dare take them anywhere else. I’m thankful God has blessed me with reliable, trustworthy childcare and I’m all the more thankful for Mrs. Jessica and Mrs. Tonya. I mean the way they have helped my family goes beyond a thank you!! We have 7 kids in our family and none of them were ever in daycare. I was very nervous at the thought of putting my last baby into a daycare facility because I heard nightmare stories!! My baby has been going to Bright Ideas since she was 12 weeks old and is now 4 years old. The staff at Bright Ideas, from the day we walked in the door, have wrapped their arms and love around our baby. They genuinely care not only about her safety but making sure she is well-rounded and ready for Kindergarten. Now we are facing the time we will no longer be using Bright Ideas and the thought of not seeing everyone everyday brings tears to my eyes. Jessica, Tonya, Makayla, Ms. Tammy, Kendra & Jennifer have been absolutely wonderful to us and our family. I will forever be grateful for the peace of mind they have given us knowing our baby was cared for and protected while we had to work.
My son has attended Bright Ideas Cordova for 7 years now and they are absolutely amazing! The staff are friendly. The management team is always available. I feel that my child's safety is a top priority. You get a homie vibe from all staff members. You can tell they truly love and care for the kids.
I honestly had a really disappointing experience with Bright Ideas Enrichment Center. This was my first time putting my kids in daycare, and I was hoping for a positive experience, but that didn’t happen. When I first dropped off my 6-month-old, he was crying loudly, and the teacher for the 6 weeks+ class was pretty rude and dismissive. When I came to pick him up, she even asked me if I buckle the bottom part of his car seat, which felt really unnecessary and condescending. On one of the last days I brought my 6-month-old, I dropped him off around 9 a.m., and I could tell the teacher was annoyed. She put her head down with her hands folded on her forehead, acting irritated that I brought my child in. I also saw my 2-year-old with a snotty nose, and another kid next to him was literally eating snot because his nose was so runny. The staff seemed disengaged and not attentive at all. My son also had an accident, which made me wonder if he was being properly watched. Another thing that upset me was that my 2-year-old didn’t have an assigned cubby, and when I went to get his things, I noticed a pack of wipes with his name on it that had never been used, but it was missing from his backpack. The staff acted like they couldn’t find it, which makes me think they used his wipes for other kids — that’s just gross. And I have to say, the director was rude and came off very condescending. Her attitude was unprofessional and just plain trifling. Overall, I’m really disappointed. I expected my kids to be in a caring environment, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. I hope they take these concerns seriously and work on improving their staff and care standards.
As a mom, moms know it's extremely hard to find a daycare for your child. My children and I have attended this daycare for 9 years consistently. The amount of love in the building is indescribable. It really feels good to have children that smile and run off and leave mom soon as they walk into the daycare! THAT SAYS A LOT ABOUT THE FACILITY!!! I have developed extremely enriching relationships with almost staff member in the building. They are quick to address any conflicts. The parent/daycare relationship is top tier. I have no worries EVERY SINGLE DAY I've dropped my kids off for the last 9 years. I would definitely recommend. We are FAMILY at this point. The love, guidance and care is evident at Bright Ideas ❤️❤️
