What Parents Say
Kinwest Montessori Academy receives consistently high praise from parents for its caring staff, strong academics, and Montessori-based curriculum. Parents highlight excellent teacher-child relationships, hands-on learning opportunities, and visible developmental progress across all age groups. The school is particularly commended for its infant and toddler programs and extracurricular offerings.
We have two children enrolled at Kinwest Montessori, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. My wife previously worked here and highly recommended the school. After touring several others in the area, it was clear that Kinwest was the perfect fit for our family. Ms. Elaheh is one of the kindest and most patient teachers I’ve ever met. The love, time, and effort she pours into not only our daughter but every child in her care is truly remarkable. Our son also loves coming to school. He walks into his toddler class with a big smile every morning. I also appreciate how the school promotes healthy eating and helps educate parents on the importance of packing nutritious lunches. Kinwest Montessori has provided a wonderful environment for our children to learn, grow, and thrive, and we’re so grateful to be part of this community.
Kinwest Montessori has been a wonderful experience for our family. The teachers are warm, attentive, and truly understand each child’s individual needs. The environment is calm, structured, and full of opportunities for hands-on learning. I’ve seen so much growth in my child’s confidence, independence, and curiosity since starting here. The staff communicates clearly and consistently, and the sense of community they foster makes it feel like an extension of home. Highly recommend for families looking for a nurturing, Montessori-based education.
Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions a parent can make, and I’m truly glad we chose KMA for our son. He has been attending KMA for over two and a half years now, and during this time, we’ve seen remarkable growth—not just academically, but in his behavior and overall development. His progress in vocabulary, math, and social etiquette has been consistent and impressive. The school’s partnerships with extracurricular programs have also exposed him to a wide range of activities, from arts to sports, which he thoroughly enjoys. We feel incredibly fortunate that he’s had the guidance of wonderful teachers like Ms. Mo, Ms. Suma, Ms. Elaheh, Ms. Harsha and Ms. Jyoti and also Ms. Janice, Ms. Mita, Ms. Lizzy and Ms. Shilpa. Each of them have played and continue to play a vital role in shaping him into the bright, kind, and respectful young child he is today. I’m also grateful to the support staff, who go above and beyond—especially during those moments when you're running late for pickup. Their care and understanding make a big difference for working parents. I wholeheartedly recommend KMA to any parent looking for a nurturing, well-rounded school experience for their child.
I’m the mother of a 4-year-old who started at Kinwest Montessori full of excitement — and so was I. Unfortunately, that excitement turned into deep concern almost immediately. On the second day, I arrived early and checked the CCTV. To my shock, I saw my son’s teacher, Miss Ella, drag a young girl by the arm into the hallway. I hoped it was a one-time lapse in judgment — until I saw her grab my son by the shoulder, yank the water bottle out of his mouth, and throw it on the ground. It was hideous and completely unacceptable behavior. No one from the school apologized or took accountability. I decided to switch my son to another teacher, hoping things would improve. Just two days later, I was called into the interim director Mita’s office, where I was scolded for supposedly not packing my child a “healthy lunch.” She lectured me about lentils and beans, told me my son wouldn’t make it to middle school — and that I could “forget about high school” — if he had a little sugar in his lunchbox. This school’s priorities and professionalism are absolutely appalling. The environment is toxic, and the staff show no compassion or respect for children or parents. Do not waste your money on Kinwest Montessori. Your child deserves far better.
As a former teacher here, I wouldn’t put my two children anywhere else! This is a great Montessori school that truly prioritizes both education and the well-being of children. The cleanliness, quality of teachers, structure, and academics are unmatched. My daughter has been here since she was 16 months old and is now 3. My son, who is 10 months, just started two weeks ago, and the care and attention he receives in the infant room have made his adjustment so much easier! I’ve looked all over for a school closer to my home, but making the 30-minute drive to Kinwest every day is absolutely worth it.
