I am writing this review to help other parents. There is one or two good teachers, the rest don't seem to care for the kids. This is not the job to have to JUST to receive a paycheck. You are directly impacting kids lives and you should take it more seriously. Dirty, horrible cold food, mean staff, little to no education, no communication, extra long naps, unprofessional teachers, and teachers complaining, is what your child will be facing on a daily basis. I could not be happier with my decision to pull him out. I felt anxious leaving him there and after about a year the true colors of this place shined through. Pointless to mention to the director, she knows and does not care, and the assistant director is rude. I am asking this center to please take an honest look at your facility and do something about it. No excuses! :(

Can't understand how this is a 5 star school. Absolutely do not recommend. They don't actually follow a curriculum and some teachers can't even tell you what they are supposed to be doing. This is an overpriced babysitter, nothing close to an educational daycare. Free play is what your toddler will do the ENTIRE day. The food menu is just a mix of pasta and meat all the time, it's not nutritional or balanced, like the posters and printed material would have you believe. Rarely are fresh fruit or vegetables are served. Some of the teachers are sweet but they are seriously lacking training. They do not know how to handle first aid issues and don't pick up on queues from non-verbal children. This raised legitimate safety concerns. Others do not seem friendly, nurturing, or that they even enjoy being with kids. Some of the teachers lose patience easily with children and can be heard using aggressive and rude language towards them, setting bad examples. I was shocked when I witnessed it, but even more disappointed that it happened in front of the director, who said nothing, because I guess that's normal to her. The teacher should have been told to go cool off for a few minutes and calm down. The books and toys are broken and dirty. They do not change them out in order to continue to stimulate the children's minds. If they even spent the slightest amount of money or bought discounted used toys & books, that would be a huge improvement. Take a look at the state web site in order to see all of the violations, including leaving a young child unattended on a bus in the freezing cold. This is the only school my kid ever ran away from the door at drop off, and not to. That should have been a bigger red flag before I saw the other pile of issues. I could go on and on. Until they make huge changes, they should not be a 5 star. Surprised they have any positive reviews.

We are writing to express our sincere gratitude to Mr. and Mrs. Brown for maintaining the establishment that has cared for our children over the past five years. Our children were nurtured and safe which afforded us the opportunity to work. We recognize that this is not an easy business. Dealing with parents, findings and keeping dedicated staff to help usher in the next generation can be challenging, to say the least. We honor Kiddie Academy and the staff, especially Ms. Crystal, Ms. Calisha, and Ms. Bridgett, who have sewn into our children. Their love of children was and is obvious. Your commitment to our community is appreciated and recognized. Please continue to do the good work that you are doing. You have a fine childcare establishment. We will miss Kiddie Academy and will continue to families to you for childcare services. Thank you.

I hate writing bad reviews but our son was here for almost a year. He started acting completely different after some time and complained his teachers were mean. There were a few who were extremely unprofessional and you could tell didn't want to be there. They often used bad language and got frustrated easily. The director did not communicate well either. He's been at a different daycare and is back to his normal, happy self after one week. Something didn't feel right about this place.

Very poorly run day care center, teachers are not equipped, teacher did not know how to look for triggers or prevent aggressive behavior. When I would pick up my 2 yr old, I would often see his peers pulling on window shades, standing on chairs etc. Director was often unavailable, director does not respond to emails from parent, teachers were informed that my child has a dairy allergy yet the daily reports would always show that my child ate dairy products, front staff are unprofessional. I wish I could give the center 0 stars.
