We have had two children go to KC for childcare and the teams are very caring for the kids and love them like their own! We also appreciate the updates and photos in ProCare throughout the day! The infant room set up allows for babies to play but also have a quiet space for sleep, which is very helpful for sleep training. When there have been any concerns about care, manager and supervisors have been able to follow up and communicate, which was greatly appreciated!

I've been sending my son here since February. He started in the toddler room, now he's in the oldest kids room (the transition was handled incredibly smoothly) since he turned 4. His confidence, speech, and overall thoughtfulness has improved significantly since he started. He is kind and follows through on what he's been asked and has potty trained himself. Additionally he can spell his name and write a small amount, which is huge for his age. I can't recommend this place enough. It's fantastic for kids. My son will continue here next year for after school care.

KC has been such a wonderful place for both of my kids to spend the year. Their speech has improved so much and my daughter is almost fully potty trained! They communicate daily and have an amazing playground out back. The staff at KC is diverse, supportive, and truly cares about each childs needs. I was extremely nervous sending my son to daycare for the first time and they have been a real blessing!!

We absolutely love our daughter going to KC. The staff is fantastic! She has leaned and has grown so much since she started. They are so caring! We truly feel that our child is truly loved by the staff! We started out half days a few days a week, and now have moved up to full-time. They were wonderful to work with when it came to schedule changes. We first checked them out because of location, but even though we are going to be moving we will continue to take our child there for school.

I was excited to find KC childcare because they had open spots, and they accepted part time kids. I went in for a tour, and was impressed at first. They gave me the information packet and I headed home to fill it out. First, the information in their packet is not up to date. It said their daily rate was $55, and they could schedule half days for kids. I was hoping to put my daughter in for 2.5 days a week. When I got back to the center to drop off my packet, I was told the daily rate had increased to $65, and they no longer schedule half days. I was disappointed, but didn’t have a lot of other options for child-care. On her first day at the center, I noticed she was enrolled in the wrong classroom. She was listed in the infant room, when she was supposed to be in the toddler room. I brought it to the attention of the assistant director, who said she would correct it. It was never changed. On my daughter’s second day, I picked her up from her class and she was completely covered in sand and dirt. My issue was not with the mess, I am glad they have the kids outside playing. The issue was 5 minutes later, when I gave my daughter her cup of milk, and she gagged up 3 rocks. I was horrified, and I called out to the director who was in the office. She saw the rocks, and was clearly embarrassed. She said she would bring it up to her staff, because my daughter was obviously not being supervised while playing in the sandbox and had eaten rocks. (My daughter was 14 months at the time). The next day, I went to her class to pick her up, and my daughter was completely covered in sand again, and had sand all around her mouth. The teacher made a joke about how she liked to eat sand. This was not funny, and I left feeling extremely upset, and planned to talk to the director about it. The next two days were terrible for us. I was home with my daughter and she started to get sick to her stomach. She had diarrhea for 3 days, and each time it looked like a sandbox in her diaper. Her diaper would be filled with sand and small rocks. It was horrifying. We decided to pull my daughter out, but because you pay for first and last week’s tuition, we decided to take her back for her last week since we had already paid for it. My husband spoke to the director about our concerns that next week before dropping her off, and let them know we would not be returning after her last week. On her last day at the daycare center, around dinner time, we received an email from the center. It said a child in the toddler room had tested positive for COVID, and the parents of the children exposed had been contacted individually and would need to quarantine for 10 days. However, we were not contacted. My daughter had been exposed, because she was in the toddler room. But because the assistant director never actually fixed their mistake on her enrollment (saying she was in the infant room), we never got a call. My daughter has asthma (something I had spoken with the assistant director and director about), and we should have received a personal phone call, not just a general email. We unknowingly exposed my parents to my daughter, which was extremely upsetting. If we had been personally notified sooner like the other parents, we could have quarantined sooner and lessened exposure to others. I tried contacting the director MULTIPLE times about this mistake. I felt it was important for them to know what happened. I even went to the center in person the next week to speak to someone, but could not get in touch with anyone in charge. We continued to get bills sent to us from KC childcare for weeks after, until finally they responded to an email from my husband about it. They blamed being too busy working in classrooms for not having fixed the billing mistake sooner. Besides our personal issues with KC, the center was extremely loud, overwhelming and chaotic every time we picked our daughter up. They proved themselves to be unprofessional in their intake process, handling our concerns, and in our leaving as well. Do not take your child to this center.
