Teddy Bear Day Care

TBDC was a gem to find for our daughters, who were enrolled in infant classroom 1/2 and the preschool/preK classrooms for the past year and a half. We are sad to leave TBDC as the staff and leadership, especially Ms. Leslie, Ms. Savannah, Dominoe, Ms. Amelia, Ms. Amanda, Ms. Jo, Ms. Heather, Mr. friend, Ms. Lea and Ms. Tia have been exceptional to work with. You truly feel like family here. The summer field trips and plethora of outdoor time really were highlights in addition to the amazing people. We will miss TBDC, and would highly recommend for anyone in the area looking for a new or a first time daycare.

We absolutely LOVE TBDC! We’ve been lucky enough to be part of this program for the past year and couldn’t be happier with our experience. From day one, every staff member we encountered (from admin, to his direct teachers as well as teachers from other classrooms) has been wonderful, warm, caring and goes out of their way to get to know our son. They truly care about each child and their individual needs and hire the very best, most dedicated teachers. We get daily texts, pictures and updates about how he’s doing during the day, as well as a detailed report at pickup. Our son is so well cared for there and loves going in each day-couldn’t ask for a better program. Highly recommend!

We have been going to Teddy Bear since my son was an infant and now with summer camp. The management has always been open and accommodating for our family. They were helpful in setting up a plan for early management of my child's ADHD in the classroom when it started becoming evident at 4 years old and long before we had an official diagnosis. Also, they re-worked their Summer programming during Covid making it even better. My son talks about what he did at summer camp all year long. Happy to be heading back to Teddy Bear for the summer.

We absolutely love TBDC! Our daughter is always safe when getting on/off the school bus and we have had reliable care for her during planned and unplanned school closings. TBDC admin team is very responsive and available via phone or email (which I appreciate very much). Thank you for providing quality care for our little ones! 💕

We have been so happy with our experience at TBDC. The director is absolutely outstanding and makes every parent feel like they are part of a community. She truly gets to know each individual family. The center is nationally accredited, a rigorous process that takes into account many variables, so they are vigilant. It is a larger center, but each room consists of 8-12 children. They have a large outdoor space, which we love, and take the kids out multiple times per day weather permitting. The staff are amazing, each teacher is so passionate about working with kids and they plan the most creative and fun activities. Every time I see what they are doing, I am blown away with the crafts that they do with such simple materials. Our son thrives there- we are completely confident that he is not only in a space that is safe and loving, but one that will help foster learning and that appreciates him and his personality. No center is perfect and there are, of course, some improvements that can be made. But the key is open communication and we have found that whenever we bring up any concerns we have, the management and staff are eager to work with us. It's a great feeling to know that we are all on the same team and have the same goal in mind: to make sure that the kids are comfortable and happy!
