Ivy Montessori Academy Valley Ranch

This is a wonderful Montessori and the entire staff is amazing, especially Mrs. Lata. When I drop my son off every morning I know he will be in the absolute best care. The school is very clean and organized. They also have a great play area outside, the best I've seen. My husband and I toured quite a few schools before choosing Ivy, and we are so happy with our decision. I would recommend this school to anyone if you want exceptional care for your child.

We've had a wonderful experience at Ivy Montessori! Teachers are very loving and most importantly The head of school, Ms. Lata, is involved with every part of the school. Ms lata runs a great school and is always on top of every detail, she is always willing to listen to our concerns. My children love this school and we as parents feel confident that our kids are learning and being cared for very well.

My 5 year old is A very energetic, engaging and chatty kid. He had been going to a day care for a while but they did not know how to channel his energies and help him grow. We joined I y Montessori Academy about 4 months ago and the difference in my child is astounding. Even my friends and neighbors have noticed how he has grown and become polished in such a short amount of time. The staff there is extremely dedicated and Ms.Lata, the director, puts her heart and soul into the well being and education of each and every child. I am thoroughly pleased with the school and would recommend it to everyone, especially people who have energetic kids as those kids are mostly extremely intelligent, but not everyone can nourish their intellect and channel their energies positively.

Ms. Lata was very kind, however, the school wasn't very nice to my son who was 3 yo. at the time. Shaming, physical discipline, and lack of healthy food options occur here. The first month went well, however, I started noticing a change in my loved one by the beginning of the second month. He would cry when we walked from the car to the IVY school. When children cry, Ivy teachers threaten the child with taking them to the baby room - they actively SHAME children! Here is the how the consequence played out - One morning I dropped him off early and the only room available was the baby room for care. He refused to go inside and waited outside in the hall. The teacher didn't like that, but it was teachers that made the baby room the shame room. My child could not drive his own learning as he frequently became frustrated with not being able to play and discover toys. Unfortunately, it seemed like the facility was very structured in their activities and not letting the children drive learning. I don't understand Montessori structure I can admit. Teachers reported that my son was becoming angry. A week following this discussion Ms. Lata asked me to talk to my son and get him to listen to the teachers. I explained that if I have to tell my son to listen to you you aren't doing your job and took him out the same day. Come to find out when my son became mad they would hold him down or restrain him! We switched schools, and haven't had the issues we had at Ivy Montessori. My loved one's anger stopped in a week. He is an active learner and gets along well with his new friends. I am not confident the Valley Ranch location knows how to manage children.

We had an amazing experience sending our kid to this Montessori .I loved everything about it and specially Ms Lata ,who is the Dean of the Schools here , she is a fabulous person and an astounding Caregiver. She guides you through every milestone of your kid and proactively helps you to get through each and every challenge.This facility is quite new and has big spacious rooms . Entering this institution, you will always feel the positivity.I will definately recommend Ivy to my Friends.
