What Parents Say
Holy Trinity Learning Center receives mostly positive reviews from parents praising the caring staff, welcoming atmosphere, and learning methods. However, one parent reported a serious incident involving alleged threatening behavior by staff toward their child and concerns about how the director handled the complaint.
a wonderful and welcoming community in the heart of Dallas. We were visiting just for a weekend, but always seek out the local elca community and we found a really great on. Small, but mighty they are, and were so pleasant in welcoming us, completely. The worship was easy to follow and we were made to feel completely welcome. I would recommend this church to any of my friends.
The director and staff was very helpful when our kids first started and It didn't take long for them to fall into routine either. I appreciate the learning methods and sense of responsibility they give the kids also. Great location and atmosphere. Keep up the great job!
My child has been going here since she was two months old and is almost a year now. She loves all her teachers! I don't have to worry about her being taken well care of. Price is reasonable. Love this place!
I enrolled my son into this daycare for before/after school care and we had a horrible experience. After my son 3rd day attending this daycare he advised me he was out on the playground he threw a rock and one of the staff members told him if he throw another rock SHE WOULD SLAP HIM. I immediately brought this to the director attention. Her first response was Idon't believe any of my staff would say anything like that. Instead of Investigating. I advised her my son don't have previous behavior of make believe stories. So at that point we tried to identify which staff had told my son that because he didn't know her name since he had just started there. My son stated the teacher that told him that was out on the playground when they where coming in from after school. The director act as if she didn't know what teacher was out on the playground at 3:30pm. Now I know the daycare is on a schedule, and the same teacher should go out with the kids at the same time everyday but no one knew anything. So I then asked the director do you have a picture of all your staff maybe my son can identify the teacher by picture since a few teachers had already left for the day. The director told me no and she would pull the cameras but they have no sound. The next morning I contacted the director asked her was she able to speak with her teachers that had left for the day and she told me yes the teacher stated didn't anything happen. So a few hours later when I made it to the daycare I had my son to identify Makayla he told me yes mom she is the one that said she will slap me. Makayla denied it again in front of me and my child and said she didn't say anything to my son that day. She didn't see him throw a rock or anything. I advised the assistant director that my child won't be returning to that daycare because they first impression was they believe the staff over the kids you can't put nothing pass anyone. I believe the director should of least viewed the cameras with me to see what teacher was standing close to my child or to see him throwing the work but she acted unconcerned. Once we departed the daycare my son also told me mom Makayla told me she was gone be nice to me today and that she would bring me popsicles tomorrow. So at this point she was trying to bribe my son not to tell on her. PLEASE know what you getting yourself into before you take you child here, kids don't deserve to be Threatened.
