Healthy Beginnings Cdc

We absolutely love this daycare. We looked at several centers in the Rockville area, and Bright Horizons/Healthy Beginnings (BH) was the nicest by a wide margin. The center is clean and well run. The rooms are spacious, safe, and provide a very calm atmosphere. The staff is responsive, nurturing, and very loving. They are very careful to follow all the regulations and guidelines, including child/caretaker ratios and other safety rules. I visit my daughter at the center almost every day at lunch, so I see the staff and interact with them for about an hour everyday. I arrive unannounced, so I get a pretty good idea what goes on outside of drop-off/pick-up times. It's exactly as you'd want it to be: caretakers holding babies or sitting on the floor with them. The kids aren't being "housed", they are being stimulated and loved. We have two friends whose children went here too, and both have had very positive experiences. Simply put, we love this daycare and feel extremely good about our choice. I cannot imagine feeling better or safer about where my daughter is.

Terrible daycare!!!!! This center does not keep any good teachers, Many good teachers that we love have left. They are always short of staff and sent my kid to other classrooms many times without tell us in advance. Just for the purpose of keeping the correct ratio! My kid doesn't want to go, they sent her anyway even she cried to vomit. My kid now is terrified of going to school and thanks to them!! They seem just run their business instead of caring about kids. This is my first review on google because I have to say it!!

We have two children at Healthy Beginnings - one in the Pre-K class and one in the 2s. We have been incredibly happy with the teachers and the overall curriculum. My kids are happy to go to "school" each day. They receive so much love and affection from their teachers and are learning fantastic pre-academic and life skills!
