What Parents Say
Harvest Rain Academy receives overwhelmingly positive feedback from parents praising the loving environment, dedicated teachers, Christian curriculum, and long-standing community presence spanning over 20 years. One prospective parent raised significant safety concerns about unlocked doors, lack of front desk supervision, and poor customer service during their initial visit.
My daughter started Harvest Rain when she was 2. She is now six and this is her first year going to a different school. Harvest Rain Academy provided a loving, warm, and safe environment for my child. Being a first time mom, my husband and I were hesitant on sending our baby to daycare. Even though we live 40 minutes away from Harvest Rain, we felt comfortable knowing that we would make the right decision based on education, but most importantly safety. If you're looking for a safe environment where your child can grow, play, and achieve academic excellence, I highly recommend Harvest Rain. Additionally, the summer camp program is great. The amount of knowledge that my baby learned about business management and planting/gardening was amazing and she's only 6. She will definitely be back next summer.....
My son attends Pre K here and we love it. His teacher Ms. Scott goes above and beyond for her kids. She’s such a great teacher my son has learned so much in a short time and just by hearing how he talks about her makes my heart melt. Harvest Rain y’all have one of the best any child she teacher she definitely leaves an impact in their lives.
Harvest Rain Academy has provide quality childcare and Early Education in the South Fulton area for over 20 years. The administration and staff are dedicated to serving the community with integrity and in the spirit of excellence. In difficult situations they are prayerful and committed to a peaceful resolution. I am grateful to the administration and staff for the care they provide to the children and the community.
Everyone has their own expectations, and in lamest terms, Harvest Rain did not meet mine. Communication regarding classroom changes, behavior/incidents, and tuition charges needs a lot of improvement. This “academy” is in need of more effective qualified teachers and leaders. It is more comparable to a daycare where kids play all day versus a true curriculum being implemented.
Communication needs improvement. The young woman who processed my application was very professional. However, I received a call that my daughter was accepted into the free pre-K transition program, and I would need to participate in an orientation at a later time. On the day of the scheduled orientation, I called to ask about the orientation call-in details (it is virtual) as I had not yet received the email. At that time I was informed my daughter was not eligible for the program. Prior to me calling to confirm, at no time did I receive an email, call or even a text would have been sufficient. Fortunately, I work from home and I have no issues with child care. But imagine if I was a parent who had a set work schedule and I was depending on my daughter to participate and therefore had not arranged alternative schooling or child care. I considered allowing my daughter to attend the private summer camp instead, but this experience bothered me enough that I will now be sending her to a paid private summer camp elsewhere (a place I found in Peachtree City not far from here).
