Georgetown Hill truly excels in fostering young minds. Our son attended summer camp at GH and not only did he enjoy himself, he learned so much. The staff were so friendly and engaged, and each activity was thoughtfully planned out. The campus is very modern and clean, and has a very welcoming atmosphere. Every morning began with a smile and greeting from Ms. Jamica at the front desk, and ended with us having to convince our son he could not stay longer because camp was over for the day. We love GHES!

We truly can’t say enough good things about Georgetown Hill! Both of our children started at GHES shortly after we moved to the U.S., and at the time, neither of them spoke or understood English. Thanks to the caring and dedicated staff, they’ve both made incredible progress, not only in learning English but in their overall confidence and social development. Our son is currently in the School Age program, attending after his regular school day, and he absolutely loves it. We're really sad to hear that this program will be discontinued at this location, as it has been such a positive part of his routine. Our daughter is in the Twos class and is thriving: she’s made friends, become more independent, and is learning so much through play and interaction. The genuine care and connection the staff provide is also something we deeply appreciate as parents. The campus is clean, modern, full of natural light, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. From the front desk's warm greeting each morning to the thoughtful activities planned by the teachers, everything about GHES makes our kids excited to go every day. Georgetown Hill has been a wonderful part of our family’s journey. We’re so grateful for the experience.

Our family has been a part of Georgetown Hill Early School (Congressional Plaza) since it opened in the summer of 2022, and it has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for our children. At the time, our son had just turned three and were seeking a daycare program that could meet diverse developmental needs. After visiting several daycare centers in the North Bethesda and Rockville area, Georgetown Hill immediately stood out. The school’s focus on socio-emotional development—rather than an exclusive emphasis on kindergarten readiness—resonated with us deeply. Every teacher and therapist we have worked with recommended Georgetown Hill, and now we know why. Our son eventually graduated from the preschool program, and we cannot speak highly enough of the incredible teachers who supported him along the way. Between the GHES teachers and the PEP itinerant program, my son has grown into a confident, capable, and happy learner. He’s now thriving in kindergarten—socially, emotionally, and academically—thanks in large part to the foundation built at Georgetown Hill. When our daughter was 4.5 months old, she joined her brother at the school. Her teachers are truly like her second family. She loves her friends, talks about her teachers constantly, and lights up when we arrive at school each day. We feel incredibly lucky to be part of the Georgetown Hill community. The love, dedication, and support our children have received from the teachers and staff has been exceptional—and we are so grateful for the role they’ve played in our children's early years.

When trying to select an early childhood school for our son with Down Syndrome, so many factors had to be considered. Adequate number of staff, organized structure, flexibility, safety, location, and a variety of activities. GHES Congressional Plaza is all this and more. Since our JW started in June he has blossomed, getting more physically capable, socially comfortable, and just loves going there every day. The staff and teachers are superior, always smiling, saying hi to all the kids, and doing their best to keep them entertained, even on the snowiest of days! We could not have chosen a better school for our son! Thank you GHES Congressional Plaza!
