What Parents Say
Reviews are mixed, with strong praise from most recent parents highlighting engaged staff, welcoming atmosphere, and quality programming. However, older reviews cite organizational issues, pest problems, and a serious incident involving a child's injury and inadequate follow-up.
I wasn't going to add this but its been heavy on my mind and heart. So if I can stop at least one person from taking their kid here I will. Long story is attached in the pictures. Short story my son fractured his arm on the monkey bars last summer but that wasn't the issue. The issue is that they were negligent in caring for him and gave me two different stories that did not match my sons. I still have not seen the video and have not heard anything in regards to investigation on what really happened that day. They did pay SOME of the hospital bills when initially I was told they'd cover it all. The staff never welcomed me or my son on his first day and he fractured his arm the 3rd day he was there. Please do not take your child here. The type of franchise they are I am unable to take legal action but I will continue to weigh out my options. My son missed out on his whole summer because of this and this site just gets to continue making money.
My son started going here late last year for the after school program. We are ALWAYS greeted with smiles and they make us feel welcomed and missed. I never have a issue getting in contact with the staff. When voicing any concerns that I may have I am met with a solution quickly no matter the staff and their position. My son also attended summer camp which he enjoyed a lot, they had schedules for the parents to follow for that child’s group and kept us informed if any changes needed to be made beforehand. They also kept the kids active/busy. my son would be sleep before I could ask him how his day was. They always keep us updated on any programs they are having to see if my child is interested which I love, he did a basketball clinic during the summer and the coaches were amazing, he can’t wait to start playing. The staff always seems genuinely engaged with the children which is very appreciated.
Hey everyone I attend this club and enjoy going. Staff such as Ms. Teja, Ms. Loni, Mr. Krishawn and Mr. Kollins show they care and treat us kids with respect. Also, the Management has changed recently. I do understand some of the bad reviews, but they have turned a new leaf. Mr Les no longer works at the Club. Mr. Darren is no longer here either but, in my opinion, he was often misunderstood. He has a tougher side but he cared a lot about us kids and the sports program. I have not seen the bug or rat problem that others mentioned and I have been going here over 6 years. Also, they have recently painted and started getting new stuff for us to use. This Club has been great for me and given me a lot of opportunities to grow and learn in a safe space through the programs they offer and Teen Summer Camp is very fun with the variety of activities.
As a Fellow worker here, I wish I could do a 0 star Very Bad place for children I go into the bathroom with pee all over the floor and kids sharing a vape and there are rats and bugs all over the place. The food is disgusting, and the teachers cuss at students such as Mr. less calling my son bad words and has also been disrespectful to the parents by talking very aggressively.
There’s bugs literally everywhere in the building, and kitchen had ants in it. Adding on, the staff are mostly chill, but sometimes we’re rude or snapped. I will say, STEM club was pretty good.
