This school came highly recommended, but that was not my experience. Ms Taylor was very unprofessional in my opinion. She made an appointment with me, and when I showed up she wasn’t even there. Then I had to meet with her assistant, explain my story to her, what seem promising, she left the meeting let me know she will relay the message to Ms Taylor on Monday and give me or the person recommended me a call. She never called, after 2weeks of no follow up I called her back only for her not to even apologize for not being able to see me, just put me on hold to push me back to assistant. She then answers the phone to tell to say” ohh your the mother with the non verbal child” ye see can’t accept him, we don’t like passing up on an “opportunity “ but no. I’m not upset that they wouldn’t be able to accept my child-I get it. It’s the way the entire situation was handled. When I relayed the info back to the person who referred me, she even said absolutely not and that was very unprofessional. I’m sure the school is wonderful, again highly recommended, but my experience felt like they weren’t willing to work with my child because he wouldn’t be easy pay,.
All five of my Children started this school at 2 years and 9 months old. And they all graduated from this School. My four oldest are all college graduates with Great Careers or heading to college. My 17yr old just graduated from high school and heading to St. John University with academic scholarships. The education and Family values that they receive from this school are what got them through high school all the way to College. Great Job Ms. Taylor, and her Team.
I had the opportunity to teach computer class at the school and I can tell you that it is an exceptional school. The review about the condition of the school from Honest Mom is clearly one of an unhappy person who want to harm the reputation of the organization. The teachers are in tune with the students, the students are well behaved and extremely articulate. This is a perfect enviornment for a quality education.
They pay special attention to each and every child, my son likes it here and looks forward to school each morning. The students are very well-mannered and the staff seem to know every parent name.
I love this school my daughter went there for only one year and I can tell you she learned a lot. The only reason I took my daughter out is because she got accepted into a charter school. I have a son who will be turning 2 and I am sending him to this school. The education there is great and your kids will learn. I will sacrifice and pay the tuition to send my son here rather than day care because I know he will learn a lot here. The parents that complain about the school know the school was small from the get go so why complain now you have your child there. We as blacks don't love to support our own.
