What Parents Say
Easter Seals South Florida receives mixed reviews with significant polarization. While many parents praise the staff's compassion, care, and engagement with special needs children, others report serious concerns about understaffing, hygiene, management, communication issues, and inconsistent treatment of children.
My experience with Easter seals have been let down, due to cooperation with (liberty square facility). They are understaff and over capacity with children per class room. That has affected me; as a working parent. My complaint, is more concerning with mismanagement, miscommunication, not understanding the proper producers, and mis-information that was later on informed after a few incidents i haven’t had issues with this program prior to relocating my children to this facility, my expectations in what i have experienced with this program has been failed, prior to being at the Caleb center facility where the faculty was more manage.
The worst school. My son arrived with his nails pricked like his fingers were pricked. He was terrified. He also arrived with bacteria on his hands, mouth, and feet. Because of the unsanitary conditions, they cover the teachers. They should call the school department since the children don't speak. I was so depressed that I couldn't take legal action, but I cry out for the autistic children and the abuse that keeps the children away from the married teachers.
I love this school for the simple thing: my kids love this school. They go happy every morning, they leave happy every day. Staff and teachers are super nice, super friendly. I feel safe to have my autistic kids in this school. It’s so sad now for kindergarten they did not get a spot there. Even thought I give 5 stars! And keep up the great work, team!
I’ve been trying to reach out to the director of the school for two weeks now and every time I call the excuse is she is busy, or she is in a meeting. I am really disappointed on how they run this program because this shows that a concerned parent can never get to speak to someone in charge of the place. The teacher Ms.Silva has a disgusting attitude and speaks to you in anyway. The school has not even bothered to reach out to me or my sister and the main director seems to not care about child safety there at all. I will be emailing the school and the district as well until I am heard.
Both my twin girls attend their birth through two year old program. My friend also has her daughter enrolled in the same program. I must say that this has ben a very pleasant experience and I have not had one complaint, exceot for the food. However, I guess most school food is the same. The coordinator, Christine, is so helpful and communicates with me regularly. The teacher, Miss Anna and all the aids ion the classroom are the best and they really teach the kids, while being nurturing, patient and caring. The Occupational therapist is really nice and so is the nurse, who always takes the time to call me for any little injury that my children incur. The school is clean and the playground is surrounded by a high fence with barbed wire. There is always a spot to pull into and drop my kids off. Sadly, I must move out of the area soon, but I will miss this school. My children really enjoyed it and it was nice to know they were in qualified hands. I highly recommend this school.
