I applied in September for the FPL credit. It's now January 2025 and I received a final notice bill for $254. I went to the center and asked why I wasn't approved. The first lady told me my application wasn't submitted. When I asked for the supervisor she said they ran out of funds. Yet my friend submitted his paperwork in October and got the funding. I've never encountered such a racist place .

These guys lie to people that call or come to this center for the FPL CREDIT; this morning around 11 they told me receiving applications until 12. So, I run and came quickly, at 11:15 i was in the Culmer com Act center and when get in, they told me are not receiving anymore. Why? To much applications today. Im an old lady, im sick, i have many difficulties to walk; they saw me with my cane, but all of these young and healthy guys do not change their minds. No more than 20 applications on their desk. But at 11:15 they do not receive any other more. Bad work. Liars. They don’t deserve to be there, seating, comfortably, saying they cannot receive one more application. It is a disgrace people like this providing services to elder and low income people

Be careful when you go for service specially if you are a,woman or maybe older. Make sure things are done like filter change and complete all fluids from your engine. Rotation tires should be free no 25.00. Just be on the ward i already went thru a bad experience but i learn a lot not to trust ....be alert

Terrible experience.. 3 months later No help received when I first contacted them I was still in my home now I no longer have a home due to poor transparency and apparently a delay with the “finance dept”.. Landlord never got paid after convincing my landlord to create a three day notice so I can recieve help that was never received smh I basically helped my landlord legally kick me out then after finding a place Derek promised I would be able to recieve rental assitance with deposit first months rent once I found somewhere and paid the holding fee this man said he can no longer help my best option is to go to a homeless shelter with my kids this is the worse situation I’ve ever been in a working single mom with my own business but in order for my family to recieve help I have to go to the homeless shelter this system and business is a joke it’s set up to make you dependent on the gov not assist families surviving without the gov but in need of help due to COVID .. dude literally said my best option is to go to a homeless shelter even though I’ve found a place paid the 1k holding fee work full time drive my own car running my own business part time while in school and the homeless shelter is my best option -_- yea no gov need to take back all funding from this institution and cancel contracts with them Bc the assignment is clearly not understood unless it’s to refer people to one of they homeless shelter to help secure more funding smfh god send help bc this ain’t it. Derek needs to be retrained or put in a diff position entirely horrible experience went from on the brink of bad to worse dealing with these people tried to prevent loosing my home now it seems the intentions was never to assist my family but get us in the homeless shelter they have

Two machine not accepting credit/debit cards at the Culmer Metrorail Station, MDT making life easy. Let me explain: I had to walk all the way back home, because I don’t have funds to pay for fees using the atm machine, if one is there, to get cash to pay for a pass to get to work. Yes, I am late for work and life was made easy today by your lack of proper working equipment including the trains and buses. Please use our tax dollars wisely and invest in upgrading all equipments needed to have a safe and clean and properly working transit system for guest and residents without such ongoing difficulties as not having current payments of payment to purchase fares!
