What Parents Say
Early Beginnings Huber Heights has received highly polarized reviews. Positive reviewers praise the caring staff, Director Lindsay, and structured environment, with children reportedly enjoying attendance. However, multiple recent reviews document serious safety concerns, including hospitalizations of infants, alleged staff misconduct, billing disputes, and ongoing investigations by CPS and police.
I am absolutely disgusted by the lack of care and accountability at this daycare. My daughter was admitted to the hospital with a brain bleed after attending back in August 2024. At the time of her hospitalization I came to find out that there was a pattern of incidents and hospital admissions from the same room my daughter was in. Despite this, the daycare failed to take proper action, and these incidents were allowed to continue. Multiple infants, including mine, sustained serious injuries as a result of the actions of one of their employees. Rather than acting immediately, the daycare allowed this person to remain on staff for months while a criminal investigation was underway. Only after media attention brought public scrutiny did they finally place the employee on administrative leave—months and months after the first known incident. Not only did they fail to protect the children in their care, but their response to poor reviews has been nothing short of appalling. They’ve dismissed these claims as false, but I have waited to share my review until the employee was criminally charged, so that there could be no doubt about the legitimacy of these concerns. It’s a matter of public record. It’s clear to me this facility does not prioritize the safety or well-being of the children. I believe they care more about their reputation and keeping things quiet. No family should ever have to go through what we have experienced. No child, let alone INFANT deserves what has happened to them while being in the care of this facility. If you value your child’s safety, please look elsewhere.
Do not take your children to this center. My niece along with 2 other babies have been been injured after attending this daycare. My niece suffered a brain injury. The staff who worked in the infant room at the time of all of these injuries is STILL employed here. The daycare is being investigated by CPS, Huber Heights Police and the state; but the center is telling employees/ teachers that the case has been closed. THE CASE IS NOT CLOSED!!! How the director and owner of this daycare can stand behind child abuse is sick and evil. This place needs to be shut down. It’s too bad I had to actually give a one star. They need a zero option Seems like they’re hiding these post and not allowing the public to see the true colors of them! I will continue to review this place on all platforms. Our family will not be silenced
I have to say this daycare facility is AMAZING. I live In Kettering Ohio, I visited the location in Centerville, I was not impressed with my Visit/Director at all. Many friends then told me to make a tour with the one in Huber Heights, I have to say I am so glad I did. The Director Lindsay was so super sweet, and listened to everything I had asked and then gave me a tour of where my daughter would be. I was super impressed, the staff was so friendly and great with the existing kids in the classrooms as I observed. Yes... I drive almost 30 minutes daily back and forth, so I know that my daughter is with such a great group of teachers that truly care and take care of these kids daily!!!! THESE TEACHERS CARE.....Thank you all so much day in and day out for such Exceptional Service you all give. My daughter enjoys going everyday, and talks about her teachers/classmates which tells me the impact this facility makes:)
We have been bringing our child here for a little over a year now and all I have to say is great things! Amy is such a great teacher and is very attentive to all the kids needs! Our child enjoys getting dropped off in the mornings and always goes straight to Miss Amy which makes me feel so much better as a full time working mom.
The centerville location does not follow state regulations. Alot of the teachers don't teach anything. They throw things at the children, forget them inside all the time, purposely do things to scare them and spoon them while they sleep. They keep the kids asleep longer than allowed and force them to stay outside longer than allowed.
