Ive been pleased with Faith Preschool so far. my child has attended FPS for about the last 4 months. When we were looking for a preschool, i found it so hard to find a place I felt that would care for my child like me. Faith really felt like it checked off all the boxes we were looking for. So far the staff and teachers have met my expectations. My child is excited and happy to go to school and Im so thankful for that.
I had transferred my child to this preschool after a horrid experience at another local Christian based preschool. Within the first couple of days in class, my child’s attitude towards going to school completely changed. He suddenly didn’t put up a fight to go to school, he was actually dragging me out of the house because he was excited to go. I loved their way of doing drop-off/pick-up(especially with a 2 year old who would often fall asleep in the car, so it was so convenient to have your child walk out to your car). The director, Mrs. Britt, reached out to me after his first week and asked how things were going after school hours- I thought this was a very caring and touching gesture. The communication has been great. He got to memorize monthly Bible verses and his class got to visit the pastor, where he learned Bible stories that he’d be excited to retell on the way home. During kindergarten screening, he only missed ONE question! I couldn’t recommend this preschool more. It’s such a loving and patient atmosphere that gave me so much comfort sending my child to every day.
Initially we were pleased with this school. For the most part it seemed decent and the faculty we met seemed very competent. It wasn't until after we had signed our child up and she started going, that we realized she didn't seem to be going over the essentials as well as expected and needed to be prepared for kindergarten. After meeting with her "teacher" Ms. Britt several times we began to see the problem. I'm only writing this because I wish we would have known or been warned, and hope it helps someone else save the time and money we wasted.. again we're only referring to the " teacher" and class that she was given. The other teachers seemed far more competent. Meanwhile, we're putting extra time drilling the basics (alphabet, counting to 20 etc) this summer that clearly weren't gone over enough during the school year. Sadly, we feel she had them down better before she started school there. Hope this helps
