My children had been out of daycare for an entire year. My husband and I then had to make the very hard decision to put them back into daycare. DAAP is the closest to our home. My husband was still very weary of sending them back. But after a very heartfelt conversation with the staff when he picked up the enrollment paperwork he was confident in the daycares ability to keep our kids safe during covid. I am very pleased with DAAPs safety guidelines, my kids are happier then ever, & even come excited about what they have learned. Thank you DAAP! ♥️
ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE DAAP ALVIN! The staff is amazing, they go above and beyond for the kids and parents. Both my boys have been attending here since they were 7 weeks old. They are always clean and happy when I pick them up at the end of the day. We have not had any complaints or concerns in the going on 3 years we have been here. Staff are easy to talk to, and they just give you that feeling of ease. I could not have found a better daycare for my boys. Thank you DAAP, you guys are awesome!
I never liked the idea of my kids going to daycare. I've heard too many horror stories, but Kathy made me feel comfortable enough to trust her with my boys. She's very attentive and alerts me even with the smallest things. It means so much to me how she goes above and beyond for the kids she cares for every day. I'm so happy I chose DAAP.
So far we have used DAAP for a little over 2 months now and we love them! I have a 4 month old. She is formula fed, I don't breast feed anymore but if you do you can bring breast milk for them or come yourself and feed them, since she is formula fed I bring 1-2 cans of formula and they make her a bottle when she's hungry. They let us know if she needs diapers, formula, and other necessities. If they feel something is wrong they will contact immediately. Not to mention it got my girl on a routine. We were bed sharing (no hate to anyone who bed shares) and could not figure out how to get her to sleep in her crib/bassinet, after going to DAAP for a week she got it. They read to her, play with her, tummy time, bouncer time, foot art, and more. They also use a app to give you updates and pictures. Before taking my baby there I said "NO daycares" as I was scared having someone I didn't know take care of her as all moms and dads face, but now I wouldn't trust any other daycare with my baby.
My kids have been attending for several years, even when it was under prior ownership. The transition of ownership was very professional and smooth. When there is teacher turnover, it always seems to be a smooth transition. My kids always have fun at 'school' and they learn so much. I am always impressed with how easy it is to get ahold of someone. I also love that each administrator really seems to know my kid and their individual personality and needs. That really makes a huge difference. This year, both of my kids are in the same class, but the teacher recognizes the need to modify the activities to suit the younger one. That is extra and I appreciate that level of effort.
