What Parents Say
Reviews focus overwhelmingly on the church's worship services, pastoral leadership, and spiritual atmosphere rather than the preschool/daycare program. Parents praise the pastors' biblical teaching, welcoming community, and children's programs like Kidzone and The Ark.
It was great to visit Cornerstone Church. Praise and worship was wonderful! The church is beautiful! It was nice to be able to hear Pastor John Bevere preaching this Sunday as a guest speaker. We heard a transforming Word today. The service times on Sunday are 8:30 am, 11 am, & 6:30 pm check their website for more detailed information. It’s really a beautiful and I love the interior design of the church, 5 Stars too. The church has a restaurant and a coffee shop, the food is delicious 😋 at the Solid Rock Cafe! The Solid Rock Cafe is open Wednesday - Sunday from 7:30 am - 2:30pm with great friendly service and delicious food. The 5 Stars are for food, service, and atmosphere.
Absolutely unforgettable night at the Jeremy Camp concert at Cornerstone Church! From start to finish, it was an incredible experience filled with powerful worship, amazing energy, and a strong sense of God’s presence. The lights and production were stunning — every song felt larger than life with the way the visuals and sound came together. The sound quality was top notch, crystal clear and full of depth. You could feel the bass in your chest during the upbeat songs and then be completely moved during the slower, worshipful moments. Jeremy Camp delivered a heartfelt performance that felt genuine and spirit-led. His testimony, the passion in his voice, and his connection with the audience made it so much more than just a concert — it was a night of ministry and worship. The crowd was engaged, hands lifted, voices raised, and hearts open. It was truly a night of unity in faith. Cornerstone Church did an amazing job hosting the event. The staff was welcoming, organized, and everything ran smoothly. Parking was easy, and the venue was clean and comfortable. I left feeling inspired, refreshed, and closer to God. I would definitely come back for another event. Highly recommend!
Our family moved across the country to attend Cornerstone. I don't feel like I can call it a "church". People in the reviews have mentioned that it is more like a business, and it does seem that way. We were caught up in the emotion of the polished presentation by the choir, worship team, & instrumentalists. I struggled emotionally with changing states and cultures, & I reached out for help from our adult Sunday School teacher who is also one of the "pastors". He was pretty cold, and there was absolutely no follow up even though I certainly needed it. I explained that to compound my culture shock, I'd been promised a certain level of work from the school that Cornerstone runs - Cornerstone Christian School - but that had not materialized. He was unmoved by the dishonesty I'd encountered. We wanted to try several small groups to see where we might be a good fit but were unable to make a connection. This "church" believes in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, but we never saw anything like that. We thought it was just us having trouble connecting, but one Sunday morning a man sitting near us told us he'd been attending "church" there for 10 years and was still trying to "work his way in". We weren't willing to give it 10 years. We shouldn't have been surprised, because aside from a few of the greeters who actually give a warm greeting, there isn't much warmth in this group of people. If you watch people coming and going, their look is either blank or stoic. It's very much like being in a large city where people don't smile at one another or greet one another. Please don't think you can come here to immediately use the gifts God has given you to make a difference for His kingdom. One musician told me that it took 10 years of him attending the "church" to be able to play in a service. Again, that number 10. Possibly the most disturbing thing was that we didn't believe the church was true to the Word of God in many respects. There is a festival each Fall that Cornerstone puts on for the community. We could hardly believe it when we saw that seats were reserved up front for Partners. We were equally as shocked to find out that there was a special worship service for PARTNERS ONLY that took place during this festival. Then we asked if we could become Partners and have access to the "special" things. We were told that we had to give for "quite a while" to be able to obtain those benefits. We were absolutely floored. We called about this on the next business day, and the woman who answered the phone in the department that deals with Partners confirmed everything we'd been told. Essentially, you need to give a certain amount of money for a certain length of time to get the VIP treatment. At Christmas, Santa Claus was part of the presentation. The World was mixed in with what this "church" is doing. Last but not least, we attended a class taught by one of the "pastors" (I use that term loosely, because they were not ministering to the flock as far as I could tell.). He was not staying true to the Word of God in the class he was teaching. We asked a long-time member about it, and his reply was, "Well, he's young." I'm not sure what difference that makes when it comes to rightly dividing the Word of God. I'd like to be able to say some kind things about the Founding Pastor John Hagee and his son Matt Hagee who is the Lead Pastor, but we never got to meet them. There was supposed to be a "meet and greet" where you can meet them periodically, but they never had it while we were there. They kept postponing it. You might think you could approach them to speak to them after a worship service - even in the evening when the crowd was about 1/10 the size, but they were always surrounded by security when at Cornerstone. My wife did smile and say, "Hello" to Matt's wife once. She looked startled, stared and just kept going. That probably best sums up the whole experience.
I have attended with my family for years! The presence of God is here! Come early for worship Sunday morning! And Bonus worship time is in evening service Sunday night 630p. The women's group and men's group are amazing! This last women inner warrior bible study changed my life and my friends! We need more churches like cornerstone preaching the truth. I Love my pastors!
Pastor Hagee is a light to the world. Bringing the Christian world closer to Israel, in my humble opinion, is a magnificent accomplishment and holy endeavor. As a Jew, I will forever be indebted. I believe that Christians should feel the same way. Night to Honor Israel is magnificent, and the people here were wonderful.
