Chinn Aquatics And Fitness Center

I love this place. I go a couple of times Per week, and I use the cardio equipment and the weight room. There is always one or more staff members wiping down equipment between uses. All of the staff members I have interacted with have been very professional, friendly, and helpful. I don’t use the pool area facilities, but the cardio equipment looks out over the pool. It appears to be clean and well maintained, and the lifeguards seem very attentive. They recently finished significant renovations to the pool. I have never had any issues with the men’s locker room. It is clean and everything ‘works’, so what more could you ask for?

I usually enjoy using pool, hot tub and sauna but after renovation nothing seems to be working right. Today sauna was closed with no ETA as to when it will reopen. One hot tub/spa was also closed with no updates on when it will reopen and the other that was open had barely warm water in it. The website and the announcement board at the pool that the temperature is 104 which is simply not true. The water in the showers in the locker rooms was also barely warm and the changing room area were very cold as well. I did ask at the front desk when buying a day pass if everything is working and was told it was. Seems like nobody knows what is going on or care. Also charging full price for facilities that are only half working seems unfair. At least update your website with true information so people don’t have to waste their time driving over to find out nothing is working right.

My father is a paying member of the Chinn Center and deserves to be treated with the same respect and courtesy as every other member. Unfortunately, that has not been the case. There appears to be a pattern of unfair and discriminatory treatment toward people of color, which is extremely disappointing and unacceptable. No one should feel uncomfortable, disrespected, or singled out in a place that is meant to serve the community. This is 2026 — discrimination and racism should not still be an issue, yet here we are. If this behavior continues, it will not only damage the reputation of this establishment but may also lead to serious legal consequences. I sincerely hope management takes this matter seriously and addresses it immediately, because every member deserves dignity, respect, and equal treatment.

absolutely love this place. amazing place to swim. the supervisor girl with the blue hair is so nice and helped me with whatever i needed. front desk is great also. shoutout to MARY!!! highly recommend going to this place if you are in need of a recreational center in the area! ❤️

DO NOT COME HERE, they will make you wait hours to go to the basketball gym. The first thing they did wrong was letting the people in before the time the court was supposed to be opened and will not let AT LEAST 3 people in and they say it’s “maximum capacity” and would look passed you when you try and ask.The second thing was when you are waiting, they would put you in the front lobby with one small bench and 1 chair to sit on, there is a big problem when there is multiple people waiting as well. Please don’t go here and go to DALE CITY I REPEAT, GO TO DALE CITY!!!
