Extremely disappointed with how Mount Vernon handled my 2‑year‑old’s very first school experience. Instead of helping him adjust, they repeatedly sent him home within an hour for nearly a month while charging full tuition. There were zero efforts to comfort him, no activities, and no proof of any engagement. The only photo we ever saw showed him crying alone at the gate while teachers ignored him and continued with other kids. When we raised concerns, the school’s solution was to say they “can’t meet his needs.” This isn’t support, patience, or care , this is a school unwilling to make even basic effort for a child’s transition. My child is not what the teachers claimed; he has fully adjusted and happily goes to school now. He just needed some effort from the teachers, which they never gave. I will never recommend this school for the amount they charge. There are far better schools; it may look spacious and appealing, but don’t be fooled by appearances.

We love Mount Vernon Preschool! Both of my children have spent a few years at Mount Vernon. The facilities are very well maintained. More importantly, they have had wonderful teachers. I love the safe environment that Mount Vernon has created for my children to learn, socialize, and grow.
