I had an awful experience with Bernadette Lamboy and her daycare. She presents herself as a caring advocate, even receiving a community grant as a mother of a child with special needs, but what she doesn’t share is that the second her son turned 18, she gave him up to the state. That speaks volumes about her true character. My son attended her daycare, and it was the worst decision I made. She mistreated him terribly—strapping him down to a chair all day and refusing to let him receive speech therapy while in her care. The staff, just like her, don’t care about the children. Instead, they spend their time gossiping and prying into parents’ personal lives while cheating the system for their own gain. Bernadette is only in this for the money, and it’s clear she prioritizes her personal interests over the well-being of the kids. I am beyond grateful I pulled my son out—he is thriving now. If you love your child, do not send them here!

Let me start off by saying PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOUR CHILD HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT THE WELL BEING OF THEM! Both the summer camp/afterschool & the home based daycare Bernadette has down the block is a SCAM! Bernadette only cares about her status & reputation & very little about the children. After having kicked my daughter out of her daycare for calling her & her lousy staff out for their negligence she turns around and pulls yet another stunt with her jaded businesses. She had the audacity to operate her summer camp without a licenses provider & on the FIRST day of summer camp, as a result of that the children had to be rushed out to the park in severe heat for hours & she texted all the parents that pick up was going to be at the park.. she claimed it was due to “plumbing issues” but I would like for her to be SO FORREAL because the ceiling has been falling apart for over a year with little to no repair! So after this, she calls some of the parents(me being one) to tell us that the summer camp will be closed for the remaining of the week “due to not being able to get a plumber in” which is a lie she’s trying to save herself like always. But this is what Ms. Fernanda tells me. So fast forward to the following day I get a text that Ms. Bernadette accommodated her “private” students & allowed only them to sit in over at the daycare with the 1,2 & 3 year olds & when I confronted her she told me it’s her business and she doesn’t need to tell me how or why she conducts it the way that she does & went on to accuse me of taking pictures of her shady business which on this particular day I hadn’t, however I have before & I will be posting them so everyone can see. I’ve had nothing but a terrible experience with this lady, she’s so obsessed with me & must insert me into every conversation that she has when she needs to insert some help into her shady businesses & stop worrying who I go to the beach with during the weekends! The only thing this lady cares about is money & status!! So, Again if you value your children do not bring them here!!!!

I’m writing this review because my wife is Un confrontational, this is hands down the worst day care available in 10455 zip area, my child refuses to go back there and I was forced to lose my bi weekly payment, so I did a little research be cause I was concerned, so this is what I dug up, first of all there’s a jaded Old lady that hates her job you know the kind, one of those situations that why don’t you just quit instead of miss treating children, I heard that Caribe restaurant is Hiring, also the owner is a over the hill Puerto Rican 50 plus cougar, that is more concerned with dating younger men and forcing her employee to do her hair and clean her house at no charge, while paying minimum wage, then what’s going on with our children at HER place of Business, I want her to stop being more concerned with The inevitable, we all grow old and pay attention to what pays the bills, I would like to end this by saying, if you value your children please don’t put them through the traumatic experience that is called BE HAPPY DAYCARE…
