Warning!!!! Long REVIEW! I highly recommend Ahayah academy!!!! I wish I had them when I had my first child 22 years ago! I was nervous about my 2 year old's developmental progress and was told that he may be autistic because he was not verbalizing at all. That goes to show you how quickly pediatricians like to label our children. Since going to Ahayah my toddler is singing nursery rhymes, he knows all of his colors, shapes including hexagon, pentagon, octagon, ( not just the basics) word recognition, puzzles, problem solving, forms of transportation, hygiene (washing hands and face) body parts and so much more! He has only been going for a short period of time and I am excited on how fast he is learning and eager to learn more! This is definitely a Godsend! The entire staff Dr. Echols, Ms. Monford, Ms. Theresa, Ms. Love have been so invested in my child and ALL of the children. Sometimes I don't get a chance to pull off right away because I may need to take a call and I am not in sight but I have been able to glance over and see the interaction with the staff and children and I tell you they are so nurturing! They keep the children active and they do actual activities such as gardening, learning about different foods such as fruits and vegetables. They are practicing science and math at as young as 1 year old! I want to personally thank the McRae family for the recommendation. My daughter will be joining in February.
I am a parent who has nothing but praise for the school. The school thrives in excellence in education and character building. Their approach to discipline and diversity is right on point. The teachers are very encouraging and caring. They keep parents informed and they listen. I feel truly blessed to have my daughter at Ahayah Academy.

School Daze! Kairo loves daycare. Therefore it was important to me and my husband that she went to a school where she would not only learn and grow, but was taught the importance of her identity, history and community. We also wanted a school that allowed the children to be sent with their own food, which was a MUST. Nonetheless, we were recommended to a wonderful school and the women who own and work there are amazing! Most important, we know our bugz is safe. If you are looking for a private affordable school for your children, I would definitely recommend #AhayahAcademy located south of Atlanta in Union City, GA. They go from pre k to 12 grade.
