A Touch Of Home Child Care

Over priced, no curriculum, kids don’t get the right support, the snacks are healthy but not enough, my 16 month old has came home weekly with bite marks, deep scratches, bruises all over her body. Just for teachers to tell me they have no idea what happened 9 times out of 10, my 4 yr old has been in 2 different daycares and this was the only one she was scared to go to everyday having full on meltdowns. Would highly recommend looking elsewhere before going here.

Having worked in childcare, searching for a daycare center was not an easy task. When we moved back to Portage last year, we happened upon A Touch of Home and we are so glad we did! That staff was incredibly patient and understanding, and made what was a difficult transition for our family, seamless. I love the fact that despite it being a center, it has flexibility like an in-home daycare. The teachers know my son’s personality and they can tell when something is “off” or if he might not be feeling well. My child has food allergies and also requires breathing treatments and I am confident he is getting exceptional care! Other things I love: class sizes are small, outdoor play happens multiple times per day and rain or snow does not prohibit this!!!!!, directors/owners are hands on and in the classrooms readily available if you have any questions or concerns and an app is used to communicate to parents what is happening throughout the day. My son runs to his teachers in the morning, talks about his friends every night, and is amazing me on a daily basis with what he is learning. It is such a blessing to have found this “family” to care for our son while we are at work. I would highly recommend ATH to anyone looking for affordable, quality care.

My family loves Touch of Home. It is the best of both worlds, the quality you expect from a daycare center with the heart and love of an in home daycare. I have three children and they all love coming to daycare everyday. My daughter even calls it "daycare home." As a parent I love that I keep in touch with the staff easily through the app and check in on what my children up doing throughout the day. I appreciate the pictures they post- it helps seeing pictures to not miss them while you are at work. I can't say enough good things about the staff- they as whole are professional, organized, observant, and genuinely love the children they care for. The owners are hands on and engaged with children and parents everyday. They have been helpful, patient, and understanding with me since day one. I will forever be thankful that we found a Touch of Home Too.

We love the infant room at A Touch of Home! The staff is very caring and helpful. The first couple drop offs were tough being a parent with a newborn. After getting to know the staff and seeing how they worked with my daughter I now have no worries. They are a perfect fit! Highly recommend!

As a first time mom and with everything you heard from news it is very important to find the best of the best care for your child. I wasn’t wrong with ATH! My daughter started when she was 3 months old, she is now in the toddler room attending the center with my infant. Love the daycare/employers! They are respectful, patient and always receiving you with a smile in their face. They are engaged and loving to children in general. Their app keeps you inform daily with what is going on with your child. I really recommend this daycare to everyone, especially when you can see the happiness in your child face and assuring your child is safe! Thanks all for the peace of mind.
