A Bar Z Ponderosa

When I was looking for a daycare for my oldest no where was accepting everything was waitlists except this one… it had mixed reviews. Stating the building was old and kind of run down and the ladies in the office were rude… I took my chances cause it was so close to my house… I couldn’t be more happy! You can’t expect a building that’s been in Business for so long to be perfect but they have pretty much remodeled the place in the last year or so and the ladies in the office are great! I’ve never had a problem with any of them, they communicate about everything. They are great with my older daughter and now my baby too!

My 3 month old was picked up by my husband with bruses in his torso for neglect, the ER pediatrician told us it was abuse. An investigation was conducted but nothing was done, the three women never admitted their fault and still work with babies while their building is falling apart every time it rains. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN THERE!! Otherwise the investigation will blame you and everyone except them.

Highly recommend this daycare as a great place for your child. My daughter has been going there since she was 6 weeks and I can tell (Ms Argie & Nelda) truly care/love and take amazing care of her. My son who is almost two has learned so much within the 5 months of being at this daycare. (Ms Aleena) is super sweet and has lots of communication about any concerns. Gloria the director is very understanding and on top of the staff when it comes to any accidents that may occur. I immediately get a phone call. I say this because yes accidents happens but they can happen anywhere. Communication goes a long way and this daycare is great at communicating!!

I really don't understand this one bad review on here. It is hard to believe when I see how loving they tread my son over there. I had my son previously in a different facility but he cried for 3 months straight every morning I picked him up! I finally took him out and searched for about a month until he started to go to A Bar Z Ponderosa on Burney Dr. and he loved it from the get goe! Not only did he not cry when I dropped him off he he even said he loves it there. When I picked him up to go home he cried saying he wants to stay longer and on days off he says he wants to go there too! He just now turned 3 and he is to 95% potty trained, the teachers are very helpful with supporting the potty training. The sing, craft, color, go outside and play, they dance and also let the kids watch once a while educational kids movies. My son goes there 40 hours a week and I pay 155 dollars. Upon registration a couple of days ahead Saturday daycare is available as well. They open at 6 am and close at 8 pm! If you going on vacation you will have to pay $20 per week to hold your childs spot, which is fine with me. The facility itself is old and a bit worn out, but after all it seems very clean and child friendly. And that is all that matters, kids dont care about a fancy facility looks! Terrible staff who are always talking amongst themselves or on their phones instead of watching the kids. Furthermore there are no cameras in the building at all making me feel unsafe leaving my child there for fear of something happening to my child and not having the ability to be sure of what is really going on. One of their employees let me know about a particular parent who asked for their child to not be layed down on their stomach for nap time leading to the caregiver doing just that and flipping the child on its back before the parents arrived so it seemed like they had done what the parent asked. The people working here would sooner cover for eachothers wrong doings than doing the right thing. Please, if you value the well being of your child, do not send them here.
