My son attended YCP for over a year. He was in the Flowers, Bumble Bee, and Ladybug classes. I cannot praise YCP enough. You will not get the fancy bells and whistles of apps or cameras that other daycares have. What you will get is dedicated teachers who love teaching children and care about their students, solid routines, extensive outside time, solid developmental and learning progress, class cohesion, and happy and secure kids. The first thing I noticed when I toured was how happy and secure the kids were. I have since come to learn that most of the teachers have been teaching at YCP for a long time. Ms. Adriana, Ms. Jana, Ms. Nevine, and Ms. Alina were all incredible teachers for my son. My son had speech delays and the school was attentive to supporting his development and sharing their insights. It took a bit to learn how to navigate effective communication with the school. But once we came to understand the process and know Ms. Pashi we had no further challenges. Ms. Pashi has an incredible passion and story behind this school. YCP is a rare gem among daycares and I highly recommend it based on our experience.
My son started at YCP as a baby and he’s been very happy here. The teachers are caring and thoughtful. Ms Gloria was my son’s teacher around 2yo and he adores her, she’s truly one of a kind. The owners are very involved and appear to be kind and caring towards the staff, as we’ve seen very little turnover. Kids go out on the playground every day and they do all sorts of stimulating activities daily; on special occasions the kids would come home with beautiful projects they create with the teachers. All in all a great place, we highly recommend it!
I can't say enough wonderful things about Your Child's Place. I have such peace of mind knowing that my kids are happy and safe every day. The teachers are wonderful and caring and I'm very happy with the preschool education my kids are receiving. They also get lots of time to play and run around outside-- the school has two beautiful, large outdoor spaces with lots of trees and shade. Since COVID-19, they have also taken every possible precaution to keep everyone healthy and safe.
We have had two children attend Your Child's Place from 18 months-3 years of age (thus far). All of their caregivers are educated, kind, and committed to the physical, psychological, and educational well-being of the children they care for. They all communicate very well with us and I love that they are able to educate the children about diverse cultures in addition to advancing their education in all other areas. Both of my children have been very happy there!
Between both our boys, we spent eight wonderful years at YCP. Our boys were always happy to be there, never cried during drop off, and were more than ready for Kindergarten when it was time to graduate from pre-school. Most importantly, they were loved and well cared for by all the staff members. We truly miss YCP and continue to recommend it any chance we get.
