I looked at a lot of daycares for my 2 year old and this one checked all the boxes! The kids are happy. The teachers and caregivers are warm, welcoming, and inclusive. There are classroom projects and activities and also lots of free play. The classroom has a homey feel and the outdoor play area is great! They offer healthy meals and my 2 year old eats very well there. They were able to offer us part time on reasonable days. We are both very happy with Young People's Learning Center!
We started our son with YPLC about 3 weeks ago and have seen dramatic changes in his development since, amazing! The center has been more than accommodating to special needs we’ve had and schedule requests we’ve made along the way. They are respectful of our wishes and have demonstrated that respect in actions by how they divide up classrooms, etc. we have zero complaints and have felt any expectations have been exceeded. We get photos throughout his day which is a huge bonus and updates about what they are up to. We appreciate they are a family owned business and have only heard good things about the family from people we know in the community. All good things to say !
We had to find care for our son in the middle of 2020. YPLC is the best! Their staff is always friendly, caring and loving. My son has learned so much here! He loves all his teachers and has made so many friends. They genuinely care for your children. They’re family and have walked the difficult life path with us. I’m thankful to have found such a great place to trust to raise my son while I work.
My grandsons have been attending YPLC for about a month and I have seen a positive change in them. I am so glad that they are being taught their ABC's, and other academics. They are stimulated and come home in good moods and a new word every day. I appreciate the daily pictures and real time updates. And the staff have been so kind and patient with my grandson's transition, very friendly. I believe this was a good move for my grandsons and our family.
I love YPLC and am so grateful my daughter has had the same teacher for the entire time she has been attending- they clearly treat their staff well because there hardly any turnover. This helps with felt-safety for kids!
