Young Explorers of Twinsburg has been such a wonderful experience for our family. Our toddler started there at 18 months and had the most amazing teachers who made his transition so smooth. They were patient, caring, and helped him feel comfortable right away. He continues to learn and grow every day, and we couldn’t be happier seeing how much he loves going to school! The school-age summer program was also fantastic for our three older girls. They had a great time, made new friends, and looked forward to going each day. We’re so grateful to have found a place that supports all of our kids and makes them feel so loved and engaged.
We love Young Explorers Twinsburg! Finding the right daycare is tough—you have to trust others to care for your baby like you would. We searched everywhere and are so grateful to have found YE! The environment is positive from the moment you walk in the door. There is always administration present and they greet you by name, including extended family that they only met one time! On top of that, there is no disconnect between classrooms. All teachers know every single kiddo in building even if they haven't reached their class yet. If you pass them on your way in or out they always say hi to you and your child by name and will get to know the families. The communication is strong. Through their app, we receive multiple daily photos and updates that not only show what activities our child did but also explain how they help build critical thinking skills. All kiddos experience an organized, well rounded day filled with indoor/outdoor play, toys, story time, crafts, games, and plenty of snuggles from teachers who genuinely love them like their own. Even in the infant room, there’s a structured curriculum designed to support growth and development. We couldn’t be happier about Young Explorers Twinsburg!
We love Young Explorers! Our son started at a different daycare and we moved him to YE when he was 17 months old. It was the best decision we could have made. Almost three years later, we continue to be impressed by the level of care, attention, and support he receives daily. The teachers at YE genuinely care about the children and their development, both emotionally and academically. Our son has truly blossomed since starting here. It’s clear that he feels safe, loved, and encouraged to grow. Every teacher knows our child by name, even if he’s not in their class. We still say hello to his toddler teachers 2 years later. YE has helped lay a strong foundation for our son and we’re so grateful to have them in our community.
Our girls have grown up at Young Explorers- from infants to preschoolers. After researching options when we were expecting our first, Young Explorers stood out amongst the rest - care, curriculum, convenience, etc. And once we were engaging with the teachers and receiving constant updates, we knew we had made the right choice. I honestly don’t believe our girls would be as well rounded or as advanced socially and mentally if they had received care anywhere else. My eldest came home one day and started to recite colors in Spanish….I was stunned. They constantly learn good habits, social skills, and things to help them prepare for Kindergarten. Not only do they have a great curriculum, but a wonderful staff that make the center feel like extended family. They do so much for each family and never fail to communicate. They hold activities outside of school hours - parent date night, father/daughter dance, and the Holiday concerts…one of my favorite things! Hearing my girls constantly practicing the songs and doing the choreography in the car and at home to practice bring us such joy! I have nothing but good things to say about Young Explorers Twinsburg and will always be recommending them to anyone and everyone.
Our children started at Young Explorers just under one year ago after transitioning from a different daycare center. We have toured many daycare/preschool programs in the city and appreciate a lot of what Young Explorers has offered. A few things that stand out: • It is nice to be able to see in the classrooms with the large windows at drop off/pick up. Things are orderly compared to chaos we have seen/experienced elsewhere. • We appreciate the extracurricular activities that have been offered at various times for a fee (cooking class, karate, dance, soccer, piano and more) for children to participate in outside of the classroom. • The center has a wonderful outside playground AND an indoor one as well, which is truly a gem since there are not many centers that offer an indoor gym/play area. This has been so helpful for the kids to burn energy throughout the entire year, including snowy and rainy days. • Always doing fun extras- spring concert, winter concert, teddy bear picnic, fun themed weeks, daddy daughter dance etc. • Communication through the app, including important changes about things, reminders or updates is prompt and clear. • Option to purchase warm lunch and snack- this is so helpful to have one less thing to worry about each day • Many of the teachers are so kind and always have a smiling face. Even those who are not the teachers of my kids know their names and say hello.
