So far our experience with this location is okay. I did see some diligent staff working in this location and I could also empathize with the concerns from some of the 1 -star reviews. Compared with other locations in the valley, I would say, the customer service part in this location needs to be improved. The facility itself is very cool and it offers outdoor bikes and swim pool. The family restroom is convenient to use. The pool area is our favorite part of this location.

I cannot believe I have it reviewed this YMCA yet! My daughter plays intramural volleyball at this gym and she is really enjoying it! The gentleman that is in charge of the place, Kain England, is incredible!! He graciously allowed us to join the team mid season at a discount and threw in the jersey at no cost which was awesome. The girls really enjoy themselves! Three of my daughters very good friends are on the team including her best friend. The staff members at the gym always make sure to start each game off with a Creed, making the girls vow to be team players and respect themselves and their coach and their teammates in the other teams and to do their best mind body and spirit and all that and start off and end High fiving the other teams. It's all been in excellent experience. I'm attaching a bunch of pictures and video clips of their games so far my daughter is the tall blonde jersey number one!!!

I really love all the instructors at the YMCA in Ahwatukee. I especially would like to recognize Val. Her classes are so fun! I feel like a million buck after I leave her class.

My daughter has been playing volleyball here for years. It was a positive experience and her skills have grown to the point that she's now playing Club Volleyball

I especially like the group classes, Jumpstart and Active. Great instructors!
