Phoenix Day Child And Family Learning Center

This daycare is amazing!!! My son has been going there since he was 9 weeks old and now is 7.5 months and I will never trust him anywhere else. The staff have always been friendly and my son is very well taken care of. Thank you New Leaf Janis Merrill Education Center for a wonderful experience!!

I'm wondering if some of the bad reviews are for another location? They have several. They've taken good care of my son after we switched over from another daycare I was not comfortable with. It was a rough transition as my son had severe reflux and the first few months were difficult. I stuck it out and...hear me out...it was worth it. I ended up meeting with the director to discuss a few things and everything worked out. I wanted my son to stay at this daycare. They have low staff turnover. Some of the providers have been here 20+ years and have their own children working here. My son counts on and knows his teachers. Heck, teachers that aren't even his own know him and call him by his nickname. They go through ASQs and keep an eye out for anything that might require early intervention. Most importantly...they love and cuddle the kids. I can't tell you how many times, especially in the infant rooms, I saw my child being sang to, rocked and cuddled before pick up. My son is now a toddler and any time I see his teacher at pick up, she is genuinely excited to tell me something about his day. I moved him from another daycare after three days because I had such a bad feeling. Conversely, I kept him in this one despite a rocky start because I felt that the teachers loved the kids-and they do. I would recommend this daycare to anyone who wants their child to receive loving, stable, consistent care. This was so important to me and I am so glad I found this center.

All 4 of my children have been cared for by the wonderful staff at Phoenix Day. We found this gem in 2013 through ASU Family Services. They were the only recommended childcare facility for students at the downtown campus. For the past 6 years, I have had 3 of my children graduate and they were all well socialized and prepared for kindergarten. They have cared for my 2 younger children that have developmental delays and have worked with them to ensure they receive all of the assistance they need. The staff has always been helpful, friendly, and it just feels like family. I trust each one of them and know they love the children they care for. I will always recommend Phoenix Day to everyone I know. They do great things for the community.

My children have been going here for a couple of months now and so far so good. Haven't had any bad experiences or complaints at all. I feel safe having my kids there. Anytime they are sick they make sure to call me to let me know. I love how they teach them and care for them. I notice and hear my kids learn new things. I enjoy to see the projects my kids bring home and enjoy to see them displayed in the classroom. My kids haven't had a complaint, negative or scared attitudes towards any of the teachers. It's really nice to know that it's not just one teacher in each classroom. So I know my kids get the attention they need. Also they always greet me and my kids with a positive attitudes in the morning. Thank you Phx Day

I highly recommend this early learning center. It is located in the heart of downtown Phoenix and a convenient drive if you work downtown. The quality of care they provide is amazing and I wouldn’t put my son in any other center. Phoenix day is not only a early learning center but a second home for my family and the surrounding community. If you want to give your child a great early learning environment as well as quality child care this is the center for you.
