We couldn't be happier with our experience at The Willows Learning Center. The staff especially, Maria and Pyper and teachers including Chloe Pippin and Carleigh are truly exceptional, creating a nurturing and supportive environment for our children. Their dedication to each child's growth and well-being is evident in everything they do. One of the standout features of this school is their incredible swim program. Our kids have gained so much confidence in the water, and it's all thanks to the fantastic swim team. Overall, The Willows, offers a perfect blend of academic and extracurricular activities, ensuring that children are well-rounded and happy. We highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a safe, fun, and enriching place for their children.
Our family had a very poor experience at Willows, and I feel it’s important to share this for any parents considering enrolling their child here. During the month and a half that our son attended, we consistently experienced interactions that felt unnecessarily harsh — both toward him and toward us as parents. Our son, who had been progressing well with potty training, began to regress shortly after starting at the center. Instead of receiving guidance or support, we were met almost exclusively with complaints and criticism. We received a communication one day through the school’s app that felt completely inappropriate, and we raised our concerns with the administration. The situation escalated when a final incident occurred — one serious enough that we felt compelled to file a report with Child Protection Services. We immediately withdrew our son. The lack of care or concern from the school after this incident was deeply distressing. I waited to write this review because the experience was extremely upsetting for our family. It also felt inappropriate at the time to leave feedback, as the school happened to be running a raffle encouraging parents to post positive Google reviews. I genuinely hope this helps other families make informed decisions. Our son is now thriving in a different center where he is treated with warmth, patience, and professionalism — which confirmed for us how unhealthy our experience at Willows truly was.
The Willows is truly one of a kind. My 9-year-old daughter has been attending since she was 3 in the Yellow Room, and every year has been a wonderful experience. From the warm and caring staff to the exceptional programs/activities and learning they offer, it's clear that The Willows is more than just a daycare or summer camp—it's a second home. Ms. Betty, their incredible cook, prepares fresh, home-cooked, nutritious hot meals daily, that everyone loves. The field trips are thoughtfully planned and always a highlight, and the swimming program is outstanding—daily instruction paired with free swim time has built both skill and confidence. What makes The Willows extra special is its legacy of care. I attended myself starting at age 3 back in 1979, and now my daughter is thriving in the same nurturing environment. The Willows is simply the best—daycare, summer camp, and a place where children are truly in the best hands.
We moved over to Willows Quebec based on referrals from coworkers from several years back. It has been great! The staff members are very compassionate and respectful, and the leadership has been top notch. Plus, swimming every day! Our child has had great progression since being at Willows Quebec and we'd make this choice again in a heartbeat.
My girls have been going to the Willows for the past two years, they are now in Elementary school but will continue to go every Summer until they are too old to go! Every morning when we walk in we’re greeted with a smile from Ms. Maria or Ms. Pyper! The whole staff is amazing! Ms. Betty cooks something amazing every single day! Ms. Mallory comes back every summer from college to help out. The girls love that they get to swim every day and all of the fun activities that are planned daily. I’ve recommended the Willows to several family members and they are equally happy! The flexibility of being able to drop off your kids as early as 7 and picking them up as late as 6 if needed is a nice added bonus when unexpected meetings come up. Could not be more thankful for the Willows and the whole staff!
